The Geco Encapsulated FMJ or FMJ SX is a 9mm Luger cartridge with reduced smoke and pollutant emissions. Thanks to the fully encapsulated projectile, this cartridge is particularly suitable for use at indoor shooting ranges or during high shooting loads in a training session. Ballistically, this cartridge is similar to the standard Geco FMJ, but the difference is noticeable after just a few shots; the air at the shooting range is much cleaner. Not only will your lungs thank you, but longer training sessions are also possible, as the smoke development, which would otherwise affect shooting performance, is significantly reduced.
Please note:
The ammunition is NOT lead-free. The lead core is only fully sealed with copper; in standard FMJ projectiles, the base of the projectile is open, allowing lead to be "washed out" during firing, which of course affects air quality at the shooting range.

Die Geco Encapsulated FMJ oder FMJ SX ist eine 9mm Luger Patrone mit reduzierter Rauch- und Schadstoffbelastung. Dank des vollständig verkapselten Geschosses ist diese Patrone besonders für den Einsatz auf geschlossenen Schießständen oder bei hohen Schussbelastungen während Einer Trainingseinheit geeignet. Ballistisch gleicht diese Patrone der normalen Geco FMJ aber den Unterschied merkt man schon nach wenigen Schuss, die Luft am Schießstand ist viel sauberer. Nicht nur ihre Lunge wird es Ihnen danken, es sind dadurch auch längere Trainingseinheiten möglich, da auch die Rauchentwicklung, welche sonst die Schießleistung beeinflussen würde, deutlich reduziert ist.
Bitte beachten:
Die Munition ist NICHT bleifrei. Der Bleikern ist nur vollständig mit Kupfer versiegelt, bei normalen FMJ-Geschossen ist der Geschossboden offen, sodass beim Schuss Blei "ausgespült" wird, was natürlich die Luftqualität am Schießstand beeinflusst.
