The BTS-15 in 6.5mm Grendel is a ballistically excellent AR15 from the German-Hungarian manufacturer Bavarian Tactical Systems. The aim of the BTS-15 models is to bring an affordable yet reliable AR15 to the market - whether as a complete weapon for the shooter who does not want to spend too much money or as a base weapon for the tinkerer who wants to equip their AR15 with different components. The housing and various small parts are produced in-house, while other parts are sourced from established companies to create a complete weapon that offers a very good price-performance ratio. It is a MilSpec AR15 with a free-floating barrel, M-LOK handguard, and folding sights. The weapon is delivered with a Magpul MOE stock and a Magpul Pmag.

What is special about this variant is the caliber: 6.5mm Grendel is indeed a niche caliber on both sides, but it is characterized by its excellent ballistics. It was designed to fully exploit the capabilities of the AR15 platform - in the right configuration, the projectile remains supersonic at over 1,000m and has better ballistics at long distances than the .308 Winchester. With most loadings, the caliber has over 2,000J at 100m and is therefore suitable for large game!

Die BTS-15 in 6,5mm Grendel ist eine ballistisch hervorragende AR15 des deutsch-ungarischen Herstellers Bavarian Tactical Systems. Ziel der BTS-15 Modelle ist es, eine günstige, aber verlässliche AR15 auf den Markt zu bringen - sei es als Komplettwaffe für den Schützen, der nicht so viel Geld ausgeben möchte oder als Basiswaffe für den Bastler, der seine AR15 mit unterschiedlichen Komponenten ausstatten will. Das Gehäuse und versch. Kleinteile stammen aus eigener Produktion während andere Teile von etablierten Firmen zugekauft werden um eine komplette Waffe zu schaffen, welche mit einem sehr guten Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis aufwarten kann. Es handelt sich um eine MilSpec AR15 mit freischwingendem Lauf, M-LOK Handschutz und Klappvisierung. Die Waffe wird mit einem Magpul MOE Schubschaft und einem Magpul Pmag ausgeliefert.

Das Besondere an dieser Variante ist das Kaliber: 6,5mm Grendel ist zwar hüben wie drüben ein Nischenkaliber aber zeichnet sich durch seine hervorragende Ballistik aus. Es wurde entworfen um die Wirkung der AR15 Plattform komplett auszunutzen - in der passenden Konfiguration bleibt das Geschoss auf über 1.000m im Überschallbereich und verfügt auf lange Entfernungen über eine bessere Ballistik als die .308 Winchester. Mit den meisten Laborierungen verfügt das Kaliber auf 100m über 2.000J und ist daher hochwildtauglich!
