The Barnes VOR-TX Euro with TTSX BT projectile is a lead-free cartridge designed for hunting European game. The impact on target is characterized by a consistent energy transfer, as the projectile doubles its diameter upon impact with the game body.
The well-known and proven TTSX (Tipped Triple Shock X) is a modern lead-free bullet with a monolithic construction made from a copper alloy and a ballistic tip. The grooves on the bullet body ensure improved internal ballistics and less fouling, while the plastic tip positively influences the external ballistics and terminal performance. Due to its construction, the bullet loses little weight and thus offers good penetration and a high probability of exit wounds. Thanks to the Boat Tails, the ballistics are excellent over long distances, making the cartridge also suitable as a lead-free match cartridge.
Please note:
Due to the lead-free, monolithic construction, the bullet is relatively hard with high penetration, making it optimally suited for roe deer and especially hard-hitting big game up to 200-250m, depending on caliber. For fawns and predators, the cartridge is less suitable, except in caliber .223 Remington.

Barnes is one of the leading names in hunting projectiles. Fred Barnes began selling bullets of his own manufacture in Colorado in 1932. In 1974, he sold the company to Randy and Coni Brooks, and the company moved to Utah. In 1986, the prototype of the lead-free X-Bullet was introduced, which came to market in 1989 and demonstrated that lead-free hunting ammunition is also practical. Today, Barnes is one of the most well-known manufacturers of hunting projectiles worldwide and has recently started producing complete cartridges, naturally equipped with projectiles from its own production.

Die Barnes VOR-TX Euro mit TTSX BT Geschoss ist eine bleifreie Patrone ausgelegt für den jagdlichen Einsatz auf europäisches Wild. Die Wirkung im Ziel zeichnet sich durch eine konsequente Energieabgabe aus, da das Geschoss beim Auftreffen auf den Wildkörper seinen Durchmesser verdoppelt.
Das bekannte und bewährte TTSX (Tipped Triple Shock X) ist eine moderne bleifreie Kugel mit monolithischen Aufbau aus einer Kupferlegierung und ballistischer Spitze. Die Rillen auf dem Geschosskörper sorgen für eine verbesserte Innenbalistik und weniger Ablagerungen während die Kunststoffspitze die Außenballistik und Zielwirkung positiv beeinflusst. Durch den Aufbau verliert das Geschoss kaum an Gewicht und bietet damit eine gute Tiefenwirkung und eine hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Ausschuss. Dank des Boat Tails ist die Ballistik auf lange Strecken hervorragend, wodurch sich die Patrone auch als bleifreie Matchpatrone anbietet.
Bitte beachten:
Durch den bleifreien, monolithischen Aufbau ist das Geschoss relativ hart mit hoher Tiefenwirkung, ein optimaler Einsatzzweck ist daher Rehwild und vor allem schusshartes Hochwild bis 200-250m, je nach Kaliber. Für Kitze und Raubwild ist die Patrone weniger geeignet, außer im Kaliber .223 Remington.
