The SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant is an assembly aid for telescopic sights and prevents the movement of a scope in ring mounts. The advantage of this optic adhesive is that it can be completely removed without leaving any residue - the special formulation of rubber and silicone makes this possible. Effectively, it is liquid rubber that vulcanizes, or "cures," within 24 hours, thus securely holding the scope in place. While normal glue or 2K adhesives are difficult to remove and may even damage the coating of the telescopic sight, the Optic Mount Sealant can be easily removed and leaves no traces.
Please note:
The SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant also hardens over time in the small 8ml bottle. Therefore, these should not be purchased "in advance," but as needed. The 8 ml unit can be applied with rubber-silicone mass, for example, using a small spatula (or cotton swab). The large 200ml cartridge can be stored longer; the nozzle may need to be cleaned with a needle before use.

Die SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant ist eine Montagehilfe für Zielfernrohre und verhindert das Wandern eines ZFs in der Ringmontage. Der Vorteil dieses Optikklebers ist der Umstand, dass er sich völlig ohne Rückstände wieder entfernen lässt - die spezielle Rezeptur aus Kautschuk und Silikon macht es möglich. Effektiv handelt es sich um flüssiges Gummi, das innerhalb von 24h vulkanisiert, also "aushärtet", und somit das ZF sicher in der Montage hält. Während normaler Klebstoff oder 2K-Kleber schwer zu entfernen ist und evtl. sogar die Beschichtung des Zielfernrohres beschädigen kann, kann das Optic Mount Sealant leicht entfernt werden und hinterlässt keine Spuren.
Bitte beachten:
Das SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant härtet nach längerer Zeit auch in der kleinen 8ml Flasche aus. Diese sollten daher nicht "auf Vorrat", sondern bei Bedarf besorgt werden. Bei der 8 ml Einheit kann Gummi-Silikon-Masse z.B. mit einem kleinen Spachtel (oder Wattestäbchen) aufgebracht werden. Die große 200ml Kartusche kann länger gelagert werden, evtl. muss der Kopf mit Kanüle vor Gebrauch gereinigt werden.
