The SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant is an assembly aid for telescopic sights and prevents the movement of a scope in ring mounts. The advantage of this optic adhesive is that it can be completely removed without leaving any residue - the special formulation of rubber and silicone makes this possible. Effectively, it is liquid rubber that vulcanizes, or "cures," within 24 hours, thus securely holding the scope in place. While normal glue or 2K adhesives are difficult to remove and may even damage the coating of the telescopic sight, the Optic Mount Sealant can be easily removed and leaves no traces.

Please note:
The SchleTek Optic Mount Sealant also hardens over time in the small 8ml bottle. Therefore, these should not be purchased "in advance," but as needed. The 8 ml unit can be applied with rubber-silicone mass, for example, using a small spatula (or cotton swab). The large 200ml cartridge can be stored longer; the nozzle may need to be cleaned with a needle before use.
