The Vortex Pro Leveling Kit is a mounting aid for firearms with a Picatinny rail. The simple yet extremely helpful set consists of two spirit levels: one is attached to the Picatinny rail to ensure the firearm is perfectly horizontal, whether in a vice (use protective jaws!), on a bipod, or with a shooting or cleaning rest.
The other spirit level is placed on a flat reference surface of the riflescope, which is almost always the elevation adjustment turret, and both bubbles are aligned with each other - the riflescope is now leveled. The mounting on the Picatinny rail is done via a spring-loaded clamp - quick and tool-free.
Please pay attention to the correct torque when mounting the riflescope. The riflescope - and especially the adjustment ring - should have enough clearance from the firearm and mount and should not touch anywhere!

Das Vortex Pro Leveling Kit ist eine Montagehilfe für Waffen mit Picatinnyschiene. Das einfache aber äußerst hilfreiche Set besteht aus zwei Wasserwaagen: Eine wird auf der Picatinnyschiene befestigt, damit die Waffe absolut horizontal ausgerichtet werden kann, sei es in einem Schraubstock (Schutzbacken benutzen!), auf einem Zweibein oder mit einem Schieß- oder Reinigungsbock.
Die andere Wasserwaage wird auf eine gerade Bezugsfläche des Zielfernohres gesetzt, also nahezu immer den Höhenverstellturm, und beide Libellen werden aufeinander ausgerichtet - fertig ist das nivellierte Zielfernrohr. Die Montage an der Picatinnyschiene erfolgt über eine federgelagerte Klemme - schnell und werkzeuglos.
Bitte achtet beim Montieren des Zielfernrohres auf das korrekte Drehmoment. Das Zielfernrohr - und vor allem der Verstellring - sollte genug Abstand zur Waffe und Montage haben und nirgendwo aufliegen!
