The Hera Arms IRS Quad Rail in the new generation is a revised version of the classic and proven IRS handguard. The successful formula has changed little - the design has been slightly modernized, the integrated ambidextrous QD mounts have been revised, and the Picatinny rails for cable management have been adjusted. On the weapon side, the handguard features a cutout on the 12 o'clock Picatinny rail for a nut, allowing the IRS to be properly equipped on the weapon - provided the base weapon has a corresponding cutout, such as the Hera Arms Gen4 self-loader. The corresponding nut is included.
The accompanying barrel nut has also been revised. This is necessary when the handguard is to be mounted on models other than Hera The15th or The9er. If you already have an "old" IRS mounted, the new handguard will also fit on the old barrel nut.
With continuous Picatinny rails at 3, 6 & 9 o'clock as well as a continuous Picatinny rail at 12 o'clock, the shooter is prepared for all eventualities and can mount various modular parts.

Important note:
These AR handguards fit perfectly on HERA rifles. However, if they are to be used on other AR manufacturers, it is important to install the extra supplied barrel nut. Only then is the use of HERA handguards on other manufacturers that produce to Mil-Spec possible.

Der Hera Arms IRS Quad Rail in der neuen Generation ist eine überarbeitete Variante des klassischen und bewährten IRS-Handschutz. An der erfolgreichen Formel hat sich wenig verändert - es wurde das Design leicht modernisiert, die integrierten beidseitigen QD-Aufnahmen überarbeitet und die Picatinnyschienen für die Kabelmanagement angepasst. An der Waffenseite verfügt der Handschutz in der 12 Uhr Picatinnyschiene über eine Aussparung für einen Nutenstein, damit der IRS an der Waffe ordentlich ausgerüstet werden kann - sofern die Basiswaffe eine korrespondierende Aussparung aufweist, wie z.B. die Hera Arms Gen4 Selbstlader. Der entsprechende Nutenstein liegt bei.
Überarbeitet wurde auch die beileigende barrel nut. Diese ist notwendig, wenn der Handschutz an anderen Modellen als Hera The15th oder The9er montiert werden soll. Haben sie bereits einen "alten" IRS montiert, passst der neue Handschutz auch auf die alte barrel nut.
Mit durchgehenden Picatinnyschienen auf 3, 6 & 9 Uhr sowie einer durchgehenden Picatinnyschiene auf 12 Uhr ist der Schütze für alle Eventualitäten gewappnet und kann verschiedene Modularteile montieren.

Wichtiger Hinweis:
Bei HERA-Büchsen passen diese AR-Handschütze ohne Weiteres. Wenn diese jedoch bei anderen AR-Herstellern zum Einsatz kommen sollen, ist es wichitg die extra mitgelieferte Barrel-Nut zu installieren. Nur dann ist die Verwendung der HERA-Handschütze bei anderen Herstellern die nach Mil-Spec fertigen, möglich.
