For powerful large-caliber repeating rifles in .338 Lapua Magnum or even in the massive .50 BMG, a high-performance bipod is needed that can withstand the force. Fortmeier offers a high-end bipod system in various versions that is particularly robust, absolutely reliable, and remains easy to handle.
The Fortmeier adapter for M-LOK allows the mounting of a Fortmeier bipod on this widely used interface. The M-LOK developed by Magpul is currently the most widespread modular system alongside Picatinny and has found its way into all areas of weapon technology due to its compact space requirements and simple design. The adapter can be mounted at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock, if the handguard allows it.

Notes on Picatinny mounting:
The mounts are currently offered as 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock - the two variants are IDENTICAL, only a laser engraving indicates the difference and the screw for the bipod attachment is screwed in for the corresponding orientation. You just need to unscrew the screw from the spigot and screw it back in from the other side to switch between 6 and 12 o'clock; the screw always belongs at the bottom. The clamping jaws of the mount are spring-loaded. Strong recoil forces cannot harm the system. Using a quick-release lever, the bipod can also be quickly detached from the weapon or the rotational resistance can be adjusted to tilt the weapon sideways.

Fortmeier bietet hier ein High-End Zweibein-System in verschiedene Ausführungen das besonders robust, absolut zuverlässig und dabei einfach in der Handhabung bleibt.
Der Fortmeier Adapter für M-LOK erlaubt die Montage eines Fortmeier-Zweibeins an dieser weit verbreiteten Schnittstelle.
Das von Magpul entwickelte M-LOK ist aktuell mit Picatinny das am weitesten verbreitete Modularsystem und hat aufgrund seines kompakten Platzbedarfs und einfachen Auslegung in alle Bereiche der Waffentechnik Einzug gefunden. Der Adapter kann auf 6 Uhr und 12 Uhr montiert werden, wenn der Handschutz es zulässt.

Anmerkungen zur Picatinnymontage:
Die Montagen werden aktuell als 6 Uhr oder 12 Uhr angeboten - die beiden Varianten sind BAUGLEICH, lediglich eine gelaserte Beschriftung weist den Unterschied aus und die Schraube für den Zweibeinanschlag ist für die entsprechende Ausrichtung eingeschraubt.
Man muss nur die Schraube aus dem Spigot rausdrehen und von der anderen Seite wieder einschrauben um zwischen 6- und 12-Uhr zu wechseln, die Schraube gehört immer nach unten. Die Klemmbacken der Montage sind federnd gelagert. Starke Rückstoßkräfte können dem System nichts anhaben. Mittels Schnelllösehebel kann das Bipod auch sehr schnell von der Waffe demontiert oder der Drehwiederstand eingestellt werden, um die Waffe seitlich zu kippen.
