The ultra-compact GLx 1x MicroPrism Scope from Primary Arms is the revised version of the proven SLx 1x "Battle Sights" with 1x magnification. Weighing only about 255g including mount and measuring just 66mm in length (without mount), it is slightly heavier and longer - but also narrower than its predecessor. Nevertheless, it offers good optical quality and a field of view of 22.6m at 100m. The diopter adjustment allows for customization to the shooter's vision strength, and the etched reticle enables the use of the optic even without a battery, allowing unrestricted use as a red dot sight even for shooters with astigmatism (corneal distortion). Where one would only see a dot or a blurry point with optics that have a pure illuminated dot, here the illuminated reticle is clearly visible without restrictions. The optic can be used with a magnification module and features a generous eye relief of approximately 50mm to about 150mm. Unlike the SLx, it has buttons for controlling brightness, a revised optical system with improved lenses, and a larger objective lens. These features make the new optic part of the more advanced and slightly more expensive GLx product line.
The available reticles are Primary Arms' own ACSS Cyclops Reticle Gen II with red or green illuminated horseshoe and chevron. This reticle offers quick target acquisition, holdover marks for various distances and moving targets - the ballistic marks are adjusted for .223 Rem /.308 Win. The zeroing of the reticle is done in 1/2 MoA increments (approximately 14mm at 100m / 3.5mm at 25m) per click, with a total adjustment range of 50 MoA (approximately 145cm at 100m) in both horizontal and vertical directions.
The illumination is powered by a standard CR2032 lithium battery and can be adjusted in 13 levels - including 3 night vision compatible levels (NVG compatible). The integrated AutoLive motion sensor automatically turns the sight on and off when a brightness level is selected. The brightest "Daylight Bright" illumination mode has been revised for better contrast.
Each SLx MicroPrism comes with a Picatinny mount and various adapters, resulting in a total of 8 mounting options with mounting heights from 1.1"/27.9mm to 2.075"/52.7mm (distance from the top edge of the Picatinny rail to the optical axis)! The MicroPrism optics can therefore be used on a variety of platforms. When mounting on the FAST mounts from Unity Tactical, it should be noted that the optical axis sits a little higher than with the SLx, due to the larger objective lens.

Das Ultra kompakte GLx 1x MicroPrism Scope von Primary Arms ist die überarbeite Variante des bewährten SLx 1x "Battle Sights" mit 1facher Vergrößerung. Mit einem Gewicht von nur ca. 255g inkl. Montage und einer Länge von nur 66mm (ohne Montage) ist es etwas schwerer und länger - aber auch schmaler als der Vorgänger. Es bietet dennoch eine gute optische Güte und ein Sichtfeld von 22,6m auf 100m. Der Dioptrien Ausgleich erlaubt die Anpassung auf die Sehstärke des Schützen, das geätzte Absehen lässt eine Nutzung der Optik auch ohne Batterie zu und erlaubt die uneingeschränkte Nutzung als Rotpunktvisier auch für Schützen mit Astigmatismus (Hornhautverkrümmung). Wo man bei Optiken mit reinem Leuchtpunkt sonst nur ein Komma oder einen verschwommenen Punkt sieht, erkennt man hier das beleuchtet Absehen ohne Einschränkungen. Die Optik kann mit einem Vergrößerungsmodul verwendet werden und verfügt über einen großzügigen Augenabstand von ca. 50mm bis ca. 150mm. Im Gegensatz zum SLx verfügt es über Druckknöpfe zur Steuerung der Helligkeit, ein überarbeitetes optisches System mit verbesserten Linsen und eine größere Objektivlinse. Durch diese Features ist die neue Optik Teil der fortschrittlicheren und etwas teureren GLx Produktlinie.
Die möglichen Absehen sind Primary Arms eigene ACSS Cyclops Reticle Gen II mit rot oder grün beleuchteten Horseshoe und Chevron. Diese Absehen bietet eine schnelle Zielerfassung, Vorhaltemarken für versch. Entfernungen und bewegte Ziele - die ballistischen Marken sind für .223 Rem /.308 Win. angepasst. Das Einschießen des Absehens erfolgt in 1/2 MoA-Schritten (ca. 14mm auf 100m / 3,5mm auf 25m) pro Klick, der gesamte Verstellbereich beträgt 50MoA (ca. 145cm auf 100m) in der Horizontalen und Vertikalen.
Die Beleuchtung erfolgt über eine Standard CR2032 Lithiumbatterie und kann in 13 Stufen angepasst werden - davon 3 Nachtsichtkompatible Stufen (NVG compatible). Die MicroPrism Optiken können daher auf einer Vielzahl von Plattformen eingesetzt werden. Bei der Montage auf den FAST Montagen von Unity Tactical ist zu beachten, dass die optischen Achse ein kleines bisschen höher sitzt als beim SLx, aufgrund der größeren Objektivlinse.
