The Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MK II has been a benchmark for years against which other manufacturers must measure themselves. With a perfect balance of modularity and simple construction, the Chest Rig offers the user a solid and expandable platform that can not only be complemented by MOLLE pouches but also accommodates a SAPI or ESAPI plate.
Four magazine pouches are permanently integrated and can hold all common .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO magazines - individual G36 or SG550 magazines or double AR15 or L85 magazines fit into the pouches. These are secured with a Velcro strap. On the sides, there are large universal pouches equipped with a 3-sided zipper that can hold, for example, US water bottles with 1l or similarly sized items.
A foldable compartment behind the magazine pouches can hold documents or maps - in the unfolded state, a standard 10x12" armor plate fits into the chest rig, allowing it to be used as a plate carrier. The entire outer side is equipped with MOLLE interfaces - the so-called PALS: Pouch Attachment Ladder System. This allows for the attachment of a variety of different pouches for any operational purpose.
(MOLLE is the designation of the carrying system of the US Army as a successor to the ALICE system; the designation of the modular system is PALS - but this technically correct term is rarely used). The Chest Rig MK II has an enormous size adjustment range, with a circumference of 75 to 149 cm, making it "one size fits all." Expandable with optional MOLLE / PALS pouches and special additional parts such as a closed back panel, it can be specifically tailored for various applications.

Der Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MK II ist seit Jahren ein Benchmark, an dem sich andere Hersteller messen müssen. Mit einer perfekten Balance aus Modularität und einfachem Aufbau, bietet der Chest Rig dem Anwender eine solide und erweiterungsfähige Plattform die nicht nur durch MOLLE-Taschen ergänzt werden kann sondern auch eine SAPI oder ESAPI Platte aufnimmt.
Vier Magazintaschen sind fest integriert und können alle gängigen .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO Magazine aufnehmen - einzelne G36 oder SG550 Magazine oder doppelte AR15 oder L85 Magazine passen in die Taschen. Diese werden mit einer Klettlasche verschlossen. Seitlich befinden sich große Universaltaschen, welche mit einem 3seitig umlaufenden Reißverschluss ausgestattet sind und z.B. US-Trinkflaschen mit 1l oder ähnlich große Gegenstände aufnehmen können.
Ein aufklappbares Fach hinter den Magazintaschen kann Dokumente oder Karten aufnehmen - im ausgeklappten Zustand passt eine Standard 10x12" Panzerplatte in den Chestrig, wodurch dieser auch als Plattenträger eingesetzt werden kann. Die gesamte Aussenseite ist mit MOLLE-Schnittstellen versehen - dem sogenannten PALS: Pouch Attachment Ladder System. Dies ermöglicht die Befestigung einer Vielzahl verschiedener Taschen für jegliche Einsatzzwecke.
