The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 is a modern lever-action repeater that has been completely redesigned, thus combining modern materials and manufacturing methods with a classic design. Designed with a side loading port and a side ejection, the firearm is suitable for use with scopes. Other modern features include the muzzle thread, the enlarged charging handle, and the flat trigger blade, as well as the 3 M-LOK slots on the handguard for mounting accessories. The Optimkomtage is compatible with the Marlin 1894 / 1895 / 336 footprint, a Picatinny rail with XS Sights Ghost Ring Diopter is already installed, and the classic brass bead front sight ensures quick target acquisition. The magazine tube is easily removable, allowing the firearm to be quickly and safely unloaded.
The barrel and action are made of stainless steel, while the stock parts are made of durable polymer—where the fore-end and buttstock feature a textured surface for a secure grip even with wet or clammy hands. The receiver is forged for maximum durability in all calibers. A modern and solid firearm for the contemporary shooter and hunter.

Der Smith & Wesson Model 1854 ist ein moderner Unterheblereptierer welcher von Grund auf neu entworfen wurde und somit moderne Materialien und Fertigungsmethoden mit einem klassischen Design verbindet. Ausgelegt mit einer seitlichen Ladeöffnung und einem seitlichen Auswurf, ist die Waffe für den Einsatz mit Zielfernrohren geeignet. Weitere moderne features sind das Mündungsgewinde, der vergrößerte Durchladehebel und das flache Abzugszüngel sowie die 3 M-LOK Schlitze am Handschutz, zur Montage von Zubehör. Die Optimkomtage ist kompatibel mit dem Marlin 1894 / 1895 / 336 footprint, eine Picatinnyschiene mit XS Sights Ghost Ring Diopter ist bereits installiert, das klassische Messingperlkorn sorgt für eine schnelle Zielerfassung. Das Magazinrohr ist leicht entnehmbar, somit kann die Waffe schnell und sicher entladen werden.
