The SIW Fastener - insert for the silencer offers the possibility to equip silencers with an M18x1 thread (S.I.W., Vanward, Hausken, etc.) with a quick release. The T1 module is simply screwed into the silencer and remains there - this gives the shooter a uniform interface for multiple weapons with different threads. The individual insert is suitable when the Fastener set is already in use and another silencer is to be equipped with the quick release. The optionally available T2 module is screwed onto the corresponding muzzle thread.
With a quarter turn, the silencer can thus be attached and removed. The design of the adapter ensures precise centering of the silencer on the weapon and prevents loosening of the silencer while shooting. The design also minimizes vibrations, which can positively affect precision.
An optionally available muzzle brake completes the system and protects the locking mechanism of the T2 module.

Das SIW Fastener - Einsatz für den Schalldämpfer bietet die Möglichkeit Schalldämpfer mit einem M18x1 Gewinde (S.I.W., Vanward, Hausken, etc.) mit einem Schnellverschluss auszustatten. Das T1 Modul wird einfach in den Schalldämpfer geschraubt und verbleibt dort - damit hat der Schütze eine einheitliche Schnittstelle für mehrere Waffen mit unterschiedlichen Gewinden. Der Einzelne Einsatz bietet sich an, wenn das Fastener Set bereits in Verwendung ist und ein weiterer Schalldämpfer mit dem Schnellverschluss ausgestattet werden soll. Das optional erhältliche T2 Modul wird auf das entsprechende Mündungsgewinde aufgeschraubt.
Mit einer Vierteldrehung kann der Schalldämpfer somit angebracht und abgenommen werden. Die Konstruktion der Adapter sorgt für eine wiederholgenaue Zentrierung des Schalldämpfers auf der Waffe und ein Lockern des Schalldämpfers beim Schießen wird verhindert. Die Konstruktion minimiert außerdem Vibrationen, was sich positiv auf die Präzision auswirken kann.
Eine optional erhältliche Mündungsbremse rundet das System ab und schützt die Verriegelungskulisse des T2 Moduls.
