With the A-Lock Mini thread adapter from A-TEC, you can attach your A-Tec Optima or H2 silencer to the barrel in just a few seconds with a simple 60° turn. This eliminates the hassle of screwing and unscrewing, and you can use the same silencer on multiple caliber-matching firearms with different barrel threads – a real advantage. It is absolutely innovative and revolutionizes the handling of silencers. A great side effect. How it works:
Simply order the A-Lock Mini adapter that fits your barrel thread and screw it onto your barrel (to prevent accidental loosening, the manufacturer recommends using a thread locker (Loctite, etc. for attachment).
You must also order an A-TEC silencer from the OPTIMA or H2 line. If you already have an A-TEC Optima or Hertz 2 silencer, it must of course already be compatible with the A-Lock adapter (if your A-TEC silencer already has a standard threaded hole, you cannot use the A-Lock system).

If you own a silencer with the A-LOCK screw system, it is important to ensure that the A-LOCK Mini adapter is correctly attached to the barrel! It is best to consult your gunsmith using the A-LOCK MINITOOL:
- Check that the firearm is unloaded and remove the bolt.
- Degrease/Clean the thread on the A-LOCK Mini adapter as well as on the barrel.
- Apply a thread locker (Loctite® 638) to the barrel thread.
- Attach the A-LOCK Mini adapter with the A-LOCK MINITOOL special tool and moderate torque (6-8 Nm) to the barrel and tighten it. Do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the A-LOCK Mini thread.
- Remove any excess adhesive.
- Wait briefly until the adhesive is dry and apply grease to the adapter.
- Screw the silencer onto the barrel a few times and check the fit and alignment.

Damit fällt zum einen das lästige auf- und abdrehen weg und Sie können den gleichen Schalldämpfer auch auf mehreren kaliberggleichen Waffen mit unterschiedlichen Laufgewinden nutzen – ein echter Vorteil. Wie es funktioniert:
Sie bestellen einfach den für Ihr Laufgewinde passenden A-Lock Mini Adapter und schrauben diesen auf Ihren Lauf (Um ein versehentliches Lösen zu verhindern empfiehlt der Hersteller den Adapter mit Zugabe einer Schraubensicherung (Loctite, o.ä. zur Befestigung).
Passend dazu müssen Sie einen A-TEC Schalldämpfer der OPTIMA oder H2 Linie bestellen. Wenn Sie bereits einen A-TEC Optima oder Hertz 2 Schalldämpfer haben, muss dieser natürlich bereits für A-Lock Adapter-Kompatibel sein (wenn ihr A-TEC Schalldämpfer schon eine normale Gewindebohrung hat, können Sie das A-Lock System nicht verwenden).

Montage-Info zur Befestigung des A-LOCK Mini Gewinde-Adapters:
Wenn Sie einen Schalldämpfer mit dem A-LOCK Schraubsystem besitzen, muss darauf geachtet werden, dass der A-LOCK Mini-Adapter korrekt am Lauf befestigt ist! Wenden Sie sich am besten an Ihren Büchsenmacher unter Verwendung des A-LOCK MINITOOL:
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Waffe entladen ist und entfernen Sie den Verschluss.
Entfetten/Reinigen Sie das Gewinde am A-LOCK Mini Adapter sowie am Lauf.
Tragen Sie eine Schraubensicherung (Loctite® 638) auf das Laufgewinde auf.
Befestigen Sie den A-LOCK Mini Adapter mit dem A-LOCK MINITOOL Spezialwerkzeug und mäßigem Drehmoment (6-8 Nm) am Lauf und ziehen Sie ihn fest. Wenden Sie keine übermäßige Kraft an, da sonst das A-LOCK Mini-Gewinde beschädigt werden kann.
Entfernen Sie den überschüssigen Kleber.
Warten Sie kurz bis der Kleber trocken ist und tragen Sie Fett auf den Adapter auf.
Schrauben Sie den Schalldämpfer einige Male auf den Lauf und wieder herunter und überprüfen Sie den Sitz sowie die Ausrichtung.
