The BTS-15 "M4A1" is a short and maneuverable M4 clone from the German-Hungarian manufacturer Bavarian Tactical Systems. The goal of the BTS-15 models is to bring an affordable yet reliable AR15 to the market - whether as a complete weapon for the shooter who does not want to spend too much money or as a base weapon for the tinkerer who wants to equip their AR15 with different components. The housing and various small parts are produced in-house while other parts are sourced from established companies to create a complete weapon that offers a very good price-performance ratio. It is a MilSpec AR15 with fixed front sight, classic two-piece handguard with heat shield, and removable carrying handle/sight rail with fully adjustable aperture sight with folding diopter. The weapon is delivered with an authentic M4 collapsible stock and a Magpul Pmag.
As a replica of the famous M4/M4A1 (the difference is the fully automatic mode in the A1 - both variants existed with a removable carrying handle), the weapon is only available for hunters due to the 14.5" barrel. For sport shooters, we offer the alternative "Long Schlong" with a 16" barrel. An affordable base weapon for the shooter who considers everything according to SOPMOD Block 1 as modern stuff.

In 2019, the company expanded with a factory in Budapest, Hungary, to manufacture its own AR15 from sourced and self-produced parts. Die BTS-15 "M4A1" ist ein kurzer und führiger M4-Klon des deutsch-ungarischen Herstellers Bavarian Tactical Systems. Ziel der BTS-15 Modelle ist es, eine günstige, aber verlässliche AR15 auf den Markt zu bringen - sei es als Komplettwaffe für den Schützen, der nicht so viel Geld ausgeben möchte oder als Basiswaffe für den Bastler, der seine AR15 mit unterschiedlichen Komponenten ausstatten will. Das Gehäuse und versch. Kleinteile stammen aus eigener Produktion während andere Teile von etablierten Firmen zugekauft werden um eine komplette Waffe zu schaffen, welche mit einem sehr guten Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis aufwarten kann. Es handelt sich um eine MilSpec AR15 mit festen Korn, klassischen zweiteiligen Handschutz mit Hitzeblech und abnehmbaren Tragegriff/Visierbügel mit voll einstellbarer Lochkimme mit Klappdiopter. Die Waffe wird mit einem originalgetreuen M4-Schubschaft und einem Magpul Pmag ausgeliefert.
Als Nachbau der berühmten M4/M4A1 (der Unterschied ist der vollautomatische Modus bei der A1 - mit abnehmbaren Tragegriff gab es beide Varianten) ist die Waffe aufgrund des 14,5" Laufs nur für Jäger erhältlich. Für Sportschützen bieten wir die Alternative "Long Schlong" mit 16" Lauf an. Eine günstige Basiswaffe für den Schützen der alles nach SOPMOD Block 1 als neumodischen Kram betrachtet.
