The MDT GRND-POD for Picatinny is a well-thought-out and high-quality bipod developed by MDT based on feedback from shooters. The main focus was on the possibility of one-handed operation and a combination of low weight and stability. The bipod offers a total of 5 positions - folded at 0° and 180° and unfolded at 90° and 50° - a lockable and adjustable tilt with a large tilt angle of up to 40° and length-adjustable legs. In conjunction with the 50° angle, the bipod achieves a large adjustment range of approximately 11.5cm to 24.2cm in height (measured to the axis). The entire bipod can be operated with one hand - folding out and in the legs, adjusting the length, locking the tilt. For length adjustment, the legs are simply pulled out; only for retraction must a button be pressed.
The feet are interchangeable with those of the MDT CKYE-POD bipod or ATLAS bipods. Made from aluminum (body), carbon fiber (legs), and plastic (controls), the bipod is lightweight yet stable, weighing only about 396-478g, depending on the mount.

Das MDT GRND-POD für Picatinny ist ein durchdachtes und hochwertiges Zweibein und wurde von MDT aufgrund von Feedback durch Schützen entwickelt. Hauptaugenmerk lag dabei auf der Möglichkeit der einhändigen Bedienung und eine Kombination aus niedrigem Gewicht und Stabilität. Das Zweibein bietet insgesamt 5 Positionen - eingeklappt in 0° und 180° und ausgeklappt in 90° und 50° - eine arretierbare und hemmbare Neigung mit einem großen Neigungswinkel von bis zu 40° und längenverstellbare Beine. In Verbindung mit dem 50° Winkel erreicht das Zweibein einen großen Verstellspielraum von ca. 11,5cm bis 24,2cm in der Höhe (gemessen bis zur Achse). Das gesamte Zweibein lässt sich mit einer Hand bedienen - die Beine aus- und einklappen, die Längenverstellung, die Neigungsarretierung. Zur Längenverstellung werden die Beine einfach rausgezogen, nur zum Einfahren muss ein Knopf gedrückt werden.
Die Füße sind mit denen des MDT CKYE-POD Zweibeins oder ATLAS-Zweibeinen austauschbar. Gefertigt aus Aluminium (Korpus), Carbonfaser (Beine) und Kunststoff (Bedienelemente) ist das Zweibein leicht, aber stabil und wiegt gerade einmal ca. 396-478g, je nach Montage.
