The MAKGuard is a handguard from MAK, made of carbon fiber composite. Lightweight and slim, the handguard can be attached to various AR15 PCCs. The aluminum clamping device is simply slid over the originally installed barrel nut and fixed with the 3 clamping screws; the rest of the MAKguard is made of carbon fiber with a polymer end cap. With a diameter of just 40mm, it gives your weapon a completely different, more elegant line. Carbon fiber as a composite material is lightweight and very load-bearing. The thermal conductivity is significantly better than that of steel or aluminum, meaning that the heat from the barrel is dissipated better, and the weapon feels more comfortable in hand even during long series.

Please note:
The MAKguard is NOT suitable for standard AR15 with gas system! The handguard is too slim, the gas system has no space.

Der MAKGuard ist ein Handguard von MAK, hergestellt aus Kohlefaserverbund. Leicht und schlank kann der Handschutz an verschiedenen AR15 PCC angebracht zu werden. Die aus Aluminium bestehende Klemmvorrichtung wird einfach über die original installierte barrel nut geschoben und mit den 3 Klemmschrauben fixiert, der restliche MAKguard besteht aus Karbonfaser mit einer Endkappe aus Polymer. Mit einem Durchmesser von gerade einmal 40mm, verleiht er Ihrer Waffe eine ganz andere, elegantere Linienführung. Karbonfaser als Verbundmaterial ist leicht und sehr belastungsfähig. Die Wärmeleitfähigkeit ist deutlich besser als bei Stahl oder Aluminium, d.h. die Hitze vom Lauf wird besser abgeleitet, die Waffe liegt angenehmer in der Hand auch bei langen Serien.

Der MAKguard ist NICHT geeignet für normale AR15 mit Gassystem! Der Handschutz ist zu schlank, das Gassystem findet keinen Platz.
