The AUG A3 SA from STEYR is a precise semi-automatic rifle in caliber .223 Remington and is the current civilian version of the famous and world-renowned STEYR AUG. The gas-operated loader works with a rotating bolt locking system, the barrel is quickly changeable and comes with an extended Picatinny rail for the quick mounting of a red dot sight or scope. The AUG series is characterized by its modular concept for quick disassembly. The hard-chromed and cold-hammered barrel with a 1:9" twist promises shooting performance at the highest level.
The A3 variant is the current version of the classic Austrian assault rifle. Equipped with a Picatinny rail instead of the integrated scope, the weapon is compatible with a variety of optics. Additionally, the A3 variants feature a short Picatinny rail on the right above the trigger for mounting a red dot sight as a backup sight or for close range. The M II variant features an M-LOK handguard and an additional, offset Picatinny mount at 12 o'clock. This is removable and was originally designed for mounting night vision devices or LLM. By using the widely adopted modular system, commercially available foregrips can be mounted. Furthermore, there are ambidextrous QD mounts in the stock and the Picatinny rail - matching sling swivels are included.

Das AUG A3 SA von STEYR ist eine präzise halbautomatische Büchse im Kaliber .223 Remington und ist die aktuelle Zivil-Version des berühmten und weltbekannten STEYR AUG. Der Gasdrucklader arbeitet einer Drehkopfverriegelung, der Lauf ist schnell wechselbar und kommt mit einer erhöhten Picatinny-Schiene für die schnelle Montage von Rotpunktvisier oder ZF. Die AUG-Serie zeichnet sich dank des modularen Konzepts für schnelle Zerlegbarkeit aus. Der hartverchromte und kaltgehämmerte Lauf mit 1:9" Drall verspricht Schussleistung auf höchstem Niveau.
Die A3 Variante ist die aktuelle Ausführung des klassischen österreichischen Sturmgewehres. Ausgestattet mit einer Picatinnyschiene anstelle des integrierten Zielfernrohres, ist die Waffe kompatibel mit einer Vielzahl von Optiken. Zudem weisen die A3 Varianten eine kurze Picatinnyschiene rechts überm Abzug auf, zur Montage eines Leuchtpunktvisieres als Notvisier oder für den Nahbereich. Die Variante M II verfügt über einen M-LOK Handschutz und eine zusätzliche, abgesetzte Picatinnymontage auf 12 Uhr. Diese ist abnehmbar und ist ursprünglich ausgelegt für die Montage von Nachtsichtvorsatzgeräten oder LLM. Durch die Verwendung des weit verbreiteten Modularsystems können am marktübliche Vordergriffe montiert werden. Ausserdem befinden sich beidseitige QD-Aufnahmen im Schaft und der Picatinnyschiene - passende Riemenbügel gehören zum Lieferumfang.
