The new generation of the Marlin Dark Series Model 1895 in .45/70 is a consistent continuation of the original "tactical" Marlin models. Manufactured to the latest standards with CNC-machined system, loading lever, and trigger plate, and a cold-forged barrel, the weapon offers a robust platform for the powerful caliber. The new Dark Series features a nylon-reinforced polymer stock with M-LOK interfaces, QD mounts for sling swivels, and a removable cheek rest for use with scopes. The rubber butt pad provides excellent grip in the shoulder and absorbs recoil well.
The fore-end is a one-piece aluminum construction and features M-LOK interfaces and QD mounts. The barrel has a standard 11/16"-24 thread, and the weapon is delivered with a matching thread nut and a muzzle brake. The fixed sights consist of a rigid contrast front sight and an adjustable ghost ring sight, as well as a long Picatinny rail that allows for the mounting of a variety of optics - from red dot sights to scopes to scout configurations. The main components are coated with "Graphite Black" Cerakote, and the bolt and loading lever are treated with an incredibly durable nitriding.

Die neue Generation der Marlin Dark Series Model 1895 in .45/70 ist eine konsequente Fortführung der originalen "taktischen" Marlin Modelle. Gefertigt nach den neuesten Standards mit CNC-gefrästen System, Ladehebel und Abzugsplatte und einem kaltgeschmiedeten Lauf, bietet die Waffe eine robuste Plattform für das mächtige Kaliber. Die neue Dark Series verfügt über einen Nylon-verstärkten Polymerschaft mit M-LOK Schnittstellen, QD-Aufnahme für Riemenbügel und einer abnehmbaren Wangenauflage für die Verwendung mit Zielfernrohren. Die Schaftkappe aus Gummi bietet natürlich einen ausgezeichneten Halt im Anschlag und fängt den Rückstoß gut ab.
Der Vorderschaft ist einteilig aus Aluminium und verfügt über M-LOK Schnittstellen und QD-Aufnahmen. Der Lauf verfügt über ein Standard 11/16"-24 Gewinde und die Waffe wird mit einer passenden Gewindemutter und einer Lochbremse ausgeliefert. Die feste Visierung besteht aus einem starrren Kontrastkorn und einem verstellbaren Ghost Ring Visier sowie einer langen Picatinnyschiene, welche die Montage einer Vielzahl von Optiken zulässt - vom Rotpunktvisier über ein Zielfernrohr bis hin zur Scout-Konfiguration.Die Hauptkomponenten sind mit "Graphite Black" Cerakote beschichtet, Verschluss und Ladehebel mit einer unglaublich widerstandsfähigen Nitrierung.
