The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Collector's Series 2025 is a special model of the established and well-known Mark IV in the 22/45 version. The eighth edition of the Collector's Series, introduced in 2014, includes this Mark IV, a 10/22 semi-automatic, and a Super Wrangler revolver. With a blued barrel and decorated 1911-style grips made of American walnut, the modern pistol is elegant and striking. The technical details correspond to the standard pistols. The Mark 4 is the successor to the Mark III, regarded as the gold standard in its class, and differs primarily through the simplified disassembly mechanism.
Easy to handle and reliable in precision, this match pistol offers the shooter a match sight and a cold-forged barrel. The slide runs in a rigid guide sleeve, significantly increasing potential precision; the sleeve is also prepared with threaded holes for optional optics mounting. The barrel and slide with slide sleeve are made of steel, while the frame is made of polymer.
Please note:
- The difference between MK IV and MK IV 22/45 models is the frame.
- The frame of the MK IV has a sharper angle and is made of aluminum in almost all variants (exception: stainless models with steel frames). The magazines are identifiable by the short magazine base.
- The frame of the MK IV 22/45 has a steeper angle and the same grip profile as the Colt 1911 .45 ACP (hence the name), so even grips for the 1911 fit. This frame is always made of plastic. The magazines are identifiable by the forward-extended magazine base.

Die Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Collector's Series 2025 ist ein Sondermodell der etablierten und bekannten Mark IV in der 22/45 Ausführung. Die Achte Edition der 2014 eingeführten Collector's Series umfasst diese Mark IV, einen 10/22 Halbautomaten und einen Super Wrangler Revolver. Mit einem brünierten Lauf und den verzierten 1911-Style Griffschalen aus amerikanischen Walnussholz ist die moderne Pistole edel und auffällig. Die technischen Details entsprechen den normalen Pistolen. Die Mark 4 ist der Nachfolger der als Goldstandard in Ihrer Klasse angesehen Mark III und unterscheidet sich primär durch den vereinfachten Zerlegemechanismus.
Einfach in der Handhabung und zuverlässig in der Präzision bietet diese Matchpistole dem Schützen eine Matchvisierung und einen kaltgeschmiedeten Lauf. Der Verschluss läuft in einer starren Führungshülse, wodurch die potenzielle Präzision deutlich erhöht wird, die Hülse ist ausserdem mit Gewindebohrungen für eine optionale Optikmontage vorbereitet. Lauf und Verschluss mit Verschlusshülse sind aus Stahl, das Griffstück aus Polymer.

Der Unterschied zwischen MK IV und MK IV 22/45 Modellen ist das Griffstück.
Das Griffstück der MK IV hat einen spitzeren Winkel und ist bei fast allen Varianten aus Aluminium (Ausnahme: Stainless-Modelle mit Griffstücken aus Stahl). Die Magazine sind erkennbar an dem kurzen Magazinboden.
Das Griffstück der MK IV 22/45 hat einen steileren Winkel und das gleiche Griffprofil wie die Colt 1911 .45 ACP (daher der Name), sodass sogar Griffschalen für die 1911 passen. Dieses Griffstück ist immer aus Kunststoff gefertigt. Die Magazine sind erkennbar an dem nach vorne verlängerten Magazinboden.
