The Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights are the original Tritium sights. The name says it all - robustly made with self-illuminating aiming points, this sight is a proven classic. The special feature is the Tritium element - this slightly radioactive gas is enclosed in a glass cylinder coated with phosphorus. Through radioactive decay, the phosphorus is stimulated to glow - this provides the "bright". But don't worry: the glass cylinder captures any radiation, allowing you to continue carrying the weapon in "appendix carry".
What makes the sight "tough"? The small "lamps" are enclosed in an aluminum cylinder and cushioned with silicone - this prevents damage from recoil, impacts, and cleaning agents. The luminous surface facing the shooter is covered with a sapphire - this serves as extra protection but also ensures an even distribution of light. This variant does not have the white outlines of the Tritium elements. Therefore, under daylight conditions, it functions more like a target sight.
The Tritium elements in the front sight glow green - those in the rear sight glow green. The interface is designed for Glock pistols. The height is designed for use with suppressors or red dot sights and is significantly higher than normal!
Please note: All Glock pistols use the same sight mount. However, this sight is not recommended for MOS models and Slimline models (e.g., 43, 48), as the rear sight would otherwise extend over the slide! Fits also with Walther PDP.

Trijicon was founded in 1981 in Michigan as a distribution company for "Occluded Eye Gunsights," a prototype of today's reflex sights. The name "Trijicon" was created in 1985 from the words "Tritium" and "Icon" and referred to the 3-point Tritium sights for pistols produced by the company at that time. In 1987, the first ACOG was introduced - and thus began the company's success story. Trijicon manufactures sights for handguns, prism sights, riflescopes, mounts, and thermal optics for the civilian, law enforcement, and military markets. Among the company's most well-known and successful products are the RMR Micro Reflex Sight, which is now considered the standard in the US market, and the ACOG, a groundbreaking battlesight.

Die Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights sind die originale Tritium Visierung. Der Name ist Programm - robust gefertigt mit selbstleuchtenden Zielpunkten, ist diese Visierung ein bewährter Klassiker. Das Besondere ist das Tritium Element - dieses leicht radioaktive Gas ist in einem mit Phosphor beschlagenen Glaszylinder eingeschlossen. Durch die radioaktive Zersetzung wird der Phosphor zum Leuchten angeregt - das sorgt für das "bright". Aber keine Sorge: der Glaszylinder fängt jegliche Strahlung ab, Sie können die Waffe weiterhin im "appendix carry" führen.
Was macht die Visierung "tough"? Die kleinen "Lampen" sind in einem Aluminiumzylinder eingeschlossen und mit Silikon gepolstert - dadurch werden Beschädigungen durch Rückstoß, Stöße und Reinigungsmittel verhindert. Die Leuchtfläche zum Schützen hin ist mit einem Saphir gedeckelt - das dient als extra Schutz aber sorgt auch für eine gleichmäßige Verteilung des Lichts. Diese Variante verfügt nicht über die weißen Umrandungen der Tritium-Elemente. Bei einem Einsatz unter Tageslichtbedingungen funktioniert sie daher eher wie eine Target-Visierung.
Die Tritium Elemente im Korn leuchten grün - die in der Kimme leuchten grün. Die Schnittstelle ist für Glock-Pistolen. Die Bauhöhe ist für den Einsatz mit Schalldämpfern oder Leuchtpunktvisieren ausgelegt und deutlich höher als normal!
Bitte beachten:
Alle Glock Pistolen verwenden die gleiche Visieraufnahme. Aber dennoch ist diese Visierung nicht für MOS-Modelle und Slimline-Modelle (z.B. 43, 48) empfohlen, da die Kimme sonst über den Schlitten ragt!
