The B&T SQD suppressor in the RBS version is a modern, high-performance suppressor for .45 ACP firearms with a three-lug mount on the barrel. This mounting type is known from the MP5 but is also used by other manufacturers, such as B&T. The new SQD lock can be operated even faster and easier; the suppressor is simply slid over the barrel, and the locking mechanism engages automatically. To release it, only a locking button needs to be pressed, and the suppressor can be removed.
The suppressor itself is not only a robust and efficient design originally developed for law enforcement use but also features an RBS construction. This "Reduced Back Pressure" results in less back pressure in the system, fewer powder gases are expelled into the firearm, and the entire system operates more smoothly and reliably. The titanium version weighs only 440g. The standard version is coated in Cerakote "Armor Black."
Please note:
For versions with Cerakote coating, color fidelity cannot be guaranteed after high shot loads! If the suppressor is close to glowing, this will naturally affect the surface. However, a suppressor made of aluminum should not be subjected to such stress anyway - and with .45 ACP, it is also difficult to stress it that much.

Der B&T SQD Schalldämpfer in der RBS-Ausführung ist ein moderner, leistungsstarker Schalldämpfer für .45 ACP-Waffen mit Dreiwarzenverschluss am Lauf. Diese Befestigungsart ist von der MP5 bekannt aber wird auch bei anderen Herstellern, wie z.B. B&T, eingesetzt. Der neue SQD-Verschluss kann noch schneller und einfacher bedient werden, der Dämpfer wird einfach über den Lauf geschoben, die Verriegelung rastet automatisch ein. Zum Lösen wird lediglich ein Arretierungsknopf gedrückt und der Schalldämpfer kann abgenommen werden.
Der Dämpfer selbst ist nicht nur ein robustes und effizientes Design welches ursprünglich für den behördlichen Einsatz entwickelt wurde, sondern verfügt auch über eine RBS-Konstruktion. Dieses "Reduced Back Pressure" sorgt für weniger Staudruck im System, es werden weniger Pulvergase in die Waffe geschleudert und das ganze System läuft ruhiger und zuverlässiger. Die Ausführung aus Titan wiegt gerade einmal 440g. Die Standardausführung ist Cerakote "Armor Black" beschichtet.
Bitte beachten:
Bei Ausführungen mit Cerakote Beschichtung kann die Farbechtheit nach hohen Schussbelastungen NICHT garantiert werden! Wenn der Schalldämpfer kurz vor dem Glühen ist, wirkt sich das natürlich auf die Oberfläche aus. Allerdings sollte ein Dämpfer aus Aluminium sowieso nicht derartig belastet werden - und bei .45 ACP fällt es auch schwer Ihn derartig zu quälen.
