The Hornady Manufacturing Company was founded in 1949 by Joyce Hornady and, in addition to the original auto body manufacturing, also began developing bullets for reloaders. The latter division was initially ridiculed by many, but according to the first company slogan "Accurate, Deadly, Dependable," hunting enthusiasts were quickly impressed by the excellent quality, and the steadily growing success has continued to this day. The family business offers an incredibly wide range of almost all common calibers and ammunition variants for hunting, sport shooting, or the military. Hornady ammunition is absolutely precise, consistently accurate with perfect ballistics. When it comes to premium ammunition, Hornady is hard to overlook today.

Die Hornady Manufacturing Company wurde 1949 von Joyce Hornady gegründet und hat neben dem ursprünglichen Autokarosseriebau auch angefangen Kugeln für Wiederlader zu entwickelt. Letztere Sparte wurde anfangs von vielen belächelt, aber gemäß dem ersten Firmenslogan "Genau, tödlich, zuverlässig" waren vor allem Jagdenthusiasten schnell von der hervorragenden Qualität begeistert, und der seither stetig wachsende Erfolg hält bis heute an. Der Familienbetrieb bietet ein unglaublich breites Sortiment an fast allen gängigen Kalibern und Munitions-Varianten für die Jagd, sportliches Schießen oder das Militär. Hornady Munition ist absolut präzise, wiederholgenau mit perfekter Ballistik. In Punkto Premium-Munition kommt man an Hornady heute kaum vorbei.
