The Aimpoint Comp M4s is the flagship of the proven military Comp family. These models are designed for utmost robustness and reliability and have been the standard optics for various armies for years, most notably the US Army, where the M4 and M4s have been in use for over 20 years as the M68CCO (Close Combat Optic) - even the current M4s is in service with over 1,000,000 units in US forces. The M4 features modern technology and lens coatings and is recommended for use with magnification modules up to 3x. The Comp M4s uses the same footprint as its predecessor, the Comp M3, and the PRO. A classic AA battery powers the LED for up to 80,000 hours - that’s 8 years. In night vision mode, it lasts even up to 500,000 hours - 57 years! This means a battery lasts the entire working life of a German taxpayer :- )
The Comp M4 is literally bulletproof. There are documented cases where the sight remained functional despite direct hits from shrapnel and bullets - perfect for driven hunts.
A killflash and bikini caps are included in the delivery, and the mount is the QRP2 quick mount with a height of 39mm. All caps are securely attached to the sight, and the rotary switch for the dot is easy to use and leaves no room for error - when turned to the stop, it is either absolutely bright or completely off. The difference between the M4 and M4s is the low battery compartment on the M4s, which obscures the shooter’s field of view less.

Das Comp M4 ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes kugelsicher. Es gibt dokumentierte Fälle, in denen das Visier trotz direkter Treffer durch Splitter und Geschosse immer noch funktionsfähig war - perfekt für die Drückjagd.
Ein Killflash und Bikini-Kappen sind Teil des Lieferumfangs, die Montage ist die QRP2-Schnellmontage mit einer Höhe von 39mm. Alle Kappen sind unverlierbar mit dem Visier verbunden und der Drehschalter für den Leuchtpunkt ist einfach zu bedienen und lässt keinen Spielraum - wenn auf Anschlag gedreht ist er entweder absolut hell oder absolut aus. Der Unterschied zwischen dem M4 und M4s ist das niedrige Batteriefach beim M4s, welches das Sichtfeld des Schützen weniger verdeckt.
