The Flip-Up Backup Sight MBUS Gen2 from Magpul offers absolutely reliable quality and repeatable accuracy. If the primary optic fails, it is advisable to have a backup sight already mounted on the weapon. The MBUS Gen2 is made of torsion-resistant polymer and can be mounted absolutely flat on the Picatinny rail when not in use. The design is well thought out and free of corners and edges, so you won't get caught anywhere. There’s not much to say about the further processing: Magpul, after all - durable even in extreme situations and simply reliable.
With a simple press of your finger, you unlock the spring-loaded sight, and just as easily, you retract the sight again. It doesn’t get any simpler, yet it’s brilliantly constructed. By the way, the sight can also be adjusted in height, so it is advisable to zero the backup sight as well. Additionally, it offers two apertures: a large: .185" Peep and a smaller: .070" Peep.
Simply perfect for AR rifles or bolt-action rifles with a long Picatinny rail.
(Note: The sight must be mounted on a profiled forend at the same level as the receiver rail to be able to aim correctly. The set is therefore not compatible with rail gas blocks or the MOE handguard.)

Das Flip-Up Notvisier MBUS Gen2 von Magpul bietet absolut verlässliche Qualität und wiederholgenaue Treffsicherheit. Falls die primäre Zieloptik ausfällt, ist man gut beraten ein Notvisier auf der Waffe bereits montiert zu haben. Das MBUS Gen2 ist aus verwindungssteifem Polymer gefertigt und im ungenutzten Zustand absolut flach auf der Picatinny-Schiene montierbar. Das Design ist durchdacht und ohne Ecken und Kanten so bleiben Sie auch nirgends hängen. Über die weitere Verarbeitung braucht man nicht viele Worte verlieren: Magpul eben - belastbar auch in extremen Situationen und einfach zuverlässig.
Durch einen einfachen Fingerdruck entriegeln Sie die gefederte Visierung und genauso leicht ziehen Sie das Visier auch wieder ein. Einfacher geht´s nicht und dennoch genial gebaut. Das Visier kann übrigens auch in der Höhe verstellt werden, es empfiehlt sich also auch das Not-Visier einzuschießen. Außerdem bietet es zwei Öffnungen: eine große: .185" Peep und eine kleinere: .070" Peep.
Einfach perfekt für AR-Büchsen oder Repetiergewehre mit langer Picatinny Schiene.
(Hinweis: Das Visier muss auf einem profilierten Vorderschaft in der gleichen Ebene wie die Empfängerschiene montiert werden, um korrekt visieren zu können. Das Set ist daher nicht kompatibel mit Schienengasblöcken oder dem MOE-Handschutz)
