This tool was created partly out of the necessity for the ammunition to sit flush with the back of the drums for the HDR50/TR50, so that nothing protrudes forward that could conflict with the barrel during the rotation of the drum through the trigger. This is especially important with the Tac-Mag drums, as the drive is made of plastic, which can be damaged under too much resistance.
On the other hand, filling the drums, especially with round ammunition, is extremely quick, as all projectiles can be positioned simultaneously in the optimal position.
Furthermore, I simply enjoy "reloading" ammunition with the MMT much more, because for testing purposes, I want to use already loaded drums with different ammunition again and again, without wanting to waste CO² or compressed air.
Since the drive in the Tac-Mag drums sits significantly tighter than in the original drums from Umarex, a "pin" for pressing in and out the drive was also necessary, which makes the whole process much more controlled than using just fingers.
Thus, this tool combines three functions:
1. Load ammunition
2. Unload ammunition
3. Change drive
But no matter what purpose you prefer to use the MMT for, please always remember to never use force, as the plastic can only withstand a certain amount of stress, and you should have as much fun with this tool for as long as possible.

Dieses Tool entstand zum Einen aus der Notwendigkeit, dass die Munition bei den Trommeln zum HDR50/TR50 mit der Rückseite bündig abschließen sollte, damit nach vorne nichts vor steht, was beim Durchdrehen der Trommel durch den Abzug mit dem Lauf-Rohr in Konflikt kommen könnte. Dies ist besonders bei den Tac-Mag-Trommeln wichtig, da der Antrieb aus Kunststoff besteht, der bei zu großem Widerstand beschädigt wird.
Zum Anderen geht das Befüllen der Trommeln besonders mit runder Munition extrem schnell, da alle Projektile gleichzeitig in die optimale Position gebracht werden können.
Außerdem macht mir das "Umladen" von Munition mit dem MMT einfach viel mehr Spaß, denn zu Testzwecken möchte ich immer wieder einmal bereits bestückte Trommeln mit einer anderen Munition verwenden, ohne dazu CO² oder Pressluft verschwenden zu wollen.
Da bei den Tac-Mag-Trommeln der Antrieb deutlich fester sitzt, als bei den originalen Trommeln von Umarex, war eben auch noch ein "Dorn" zum Ein- und Auspressen des Antriebes erforderlich, mit dem der ganze Vorgang auch wesentlich kontrollierter vonstatten geht, als mit den Fingern alleine.
Somit vereint dieses Tool eben drei Funktionen :
1. Munition laden
2. Munition entladen
3. Antrieb tauschen
Aber egal, zu welchem Zweck Du das MMT am liebsten verwendest, denke bitte immer daran, niemals mit Gewalt ans Werk zu gehen, da der Kunststoff nur ein ganz bestimmtes Maß an Belastung verträgt, und Du möglichst lange Spaß mit diesem Tool haben sollst.
