The GLOCK G45 HUNTER Combo is the GREEN sister of the highly successful GLOCK 19X. The handy G19 slide on the full-size frame of the G17: Compact design with high magazine capacity. Additionally, the G45 features front serrations for better slide manipulation. GLOCK offers a factory nPVD surface coating on the slide. The finish is specifically made for the military, making it very robust and protecting against corrosion. In the HunterCombo Edition, this coating has been replaced with a Cerakote coating in Hunter Green. All polymer parts (grip and magazines) are also kept in Hunter Green to match. The polymer frame pistol combines the full-sized G17 grip with the compact G19 slide, thus providing ample firepower in a more manageable size. The grip of the GLOCK G45, like the Gen5, lacks finger grooves. These have disappeared with the new ergonomic design of the Gen5. Not everyone has the same hand size and thus the finger width that was predetermined. This ensures better handling for the shooter. The large full-size frame offers a high magazine capacity. Additionally, ambidextrous slide stop levers are mounted on the pistol. The barrel of the G45 has been revised. The new "GLOCK Marksman Barrel" (GMB) barrels were developed as part of the tender for the US Army. They are designed to offer a higher precision potential than previous GLOCK barrels thanks to the new, modified polygonal barrel profile. The HunterCombo Edition has also been equipped with a muzzle thread of M13.5x1L in addition to the standard G45 A-Cut model.
