Warm and breathable jacket made of Loden fleece

The hooded Wally is the female counterpart to the hooded Huber. It features a comfortable, slightly tailored cut and the same pleasant climate properties as our other jackets made of STEINKAUZ Loden fleece. The high-closing stand-up collar is practical and can be tightened with a drawstring. Four zippered pockets on the outside provide ample storage space. The jacket has adjustable cuffs with Velcro and a 2-way zipper for optimal comfort, even when sitting.

Due to the extremely good climate properties of the Loden fleece, the jacket is very well suited for a wide temperature range. Whether hiking, trekking, or simply in leisure time, it keeps you warm and balances the body temperature inside by absorbing moisture, offering good breathability and wind resistance. When the first cool days of autumn arrive, it's time for the STEINKAUZ Loden fleece. The material provides enough insulation in many situations without the need for an additional layer on top. Only when it gets really cold does it require support from the outside in the form of a winter jacket. Until spring and even on some cooler summer evenings, the collar Wally is in its element.

Loden is sustainable

Wool is a renewable raw material and biodegradable. As a pure natural fiber, it does not remain in the ecosystem and therefore does not cause any harm. Our loden is produced in Germany, which means it is not only fairly made but also meets the highest quality standards. That it complies with the Ökotex 100 standard is a matter of course.

Our Loden fleece is made from 100% pure virgin wool, is breathable, warming, and robust. Due to the elaborate double-sided raising process of the Loden, the fabric is pleasantly soft and has a high wearing comfort. The natural product Loden requires little care: odors disappear in fresh air, and dirt can be allowed to dry and then brushed out. What makes our special Loden fleece particularly unique are its climate properties. The dense weaving of the double-faced Loden and the fine nap on the surface make the jacket almost resistant to wind penetration – and all without a membrane! And precisely because we do not need to install a membrane, the Loden fleece remains very breathable and ensures an optimal indoor climate. Fit Information

The jacket has a comfortable cut and provides sufficient freedom of movement, making it particularly pleasant to wear during sports activities or outdoor events. The sleeves are slightly longer, as is typical for an outdoor jacket, and can be adjusted with the Velcro closure at the cuff to prevent them from sliding down too far. Warme und atmungsaktive Jacke aus Lodenfleece

Die Kapuzenwally ist das weibliche Pendant zum Kapuzenhuber. Sie hat einen bequemen, leicht taillierten Schnitt und die gleichen angenehmen Klimaeigenschaften wie unsere übrigen Jacken aus STEINKAUZ-Lodenfleece. Praktisch ist der hoch schließende Stehkragen, der zusätzlich mit einem Kordelzug verengt werden kann. Vier Reißverschlusstaschen außen sorgen für reichlich Stauraum. Die Jacke hat durch Klettverschlüsse verschließbare Ärmelbündchen und einen 2-Wege-Reißverschluss für bestmöglichen Komfort, auch beim Sitzen.

Durch die extrem guten Klimaeigenschaften des Lodenfleeces ist die Jacke sehr gut für ein weites Temperaturspektrum geeignet. Beim Wandern, Trekking oder einfach in der Freizeit hält sie warm und gleicht die Körpertemperatur im Inneren durch Aufnahme von Feuchtigkeit, eine gute Atmungsaktivität und einen guten Windwiderstand aus. Wenn im Herbst die ersten kühlen Tage kommen, beginnt die Zeit für den STEINKAUZ-Lodenfleece. Das Material bietet in vielen Situationen genug Isolation, ohne daß eine weitere Schicht darüber nötig wird. Erst wenn es richtig kalt wird, braucht es Unterstützung von außen in Form einer Winterjacke. Bis in den Frühling und auch an manchem kühleren Sommerabend ist die Kragenwally in ihrem Element.

Loden ist nachhaltig

Wolle ist ein nachwachsender Rohstoff und biologisch abbaubar. Sie verbleibt als reine Naturfaser nicht im Ökosystem und richtet dort somit auch keinen Schaden an. Unser Loden wird in Deutschland hergestellt und ist somit nicht nur fair produziert, sondern entspricht auch höchsten Qualitätsstandards. Daß er den Richtlinien der Ökotex 100 Norm entspricht, ist eine Selbstverständlichkeit.

Das perfekte Outdoormaterial: Der STEINKAUZ-Lodenfleece

Unser Lodenfleece wird aus 100% reiner Schurwolle gefertigt, ist atmungsaktiv, wärmend und robust. Aufgrund des aufwändigen, beidseitigen Aufrauhungsverfahrens des Lodens ist der Stoff angenehm weich und hat einen hohen Tragekomfort. Das Naturprodukt Loden benötigt nicht viel Pflege: Gerüche verschwinden an der frischen Luft und Verschmutzungen läßt man trocknen und bürstet sie dann raus. Was unseren speziellen Lodenfleece aber ganz besonders macht, sind seine Klimaeigenschaften. Die dichte Webung des Doubleface-Lodens und der feine Flor auf der Oberfläche machen die Jacke nahezu resistent gegen das Eindringen von Wind – und das ganz ohne Membrane! Und genau deshalb, weil wir keine Membrane verbauen müssen, bleibt der Loden-Fleece auch noch sehr atmungsaktiv und sorgt für ein optimales Innenklima. Infos zur Passform

Die Jacke hat einen bequemen Schnitt und bringt ausreichende Bewegungsfreiheit mit, so daß sie besonders während sportlicher Betätigung oder Outdoor-Aktivitäten angenehm zu tragen ist. Die Ärmel haben, wie es sich für eine Outdoorjacke gehört, eher etwas Überlänge und werden durch den Klettverschluss am Bündchen so eingestellt, daß sie nicht zu weit herunter rutschen. Sie überlegen, ob und was Sie noch unter der Jacke tragen möchten und wählen entsprechend die Größe.
