From STALON, there are now safe thread adapters available so that a silencer with an 18x1mm connection thread can be attached to various firearms with different barrel threads. The thread adapter is made of steel and can be tightened securely and stably to the barrel using a wrench or socket wrench. The use of an adapter naturally introduces more tolerances into the connection, so the adapter must always be screwed in tightly and, according to the manufacturer's specifications, secured with a thread locker such as Loctite 243 to prevent the connection from loosening and becoming misaligned – which can lead to the projectile touching the silencer.
Installation instructions: The thread adapter is mounted and secured directly onto the thread of the firearm. Before mounting the thread adapter, always check the thread on the rifle and clean it of grease and dirt. Also, check whether the thread in the silencer and in the thread adapter has the same thread. After cleaning the rifle thread, a thread locker is applied to the thread (e.g.: Loctite 243). Mount the thread adapter onto the thread of the rifle with thread locker and use a 21mm box wrench, socket wrench, or similar tool to ensure that the thread adapter is properly mounted. Wait until the thread locker has cured before mounting the silencer onto the thread adapter. Once the thread locker has cured, the installation of the adapter is complete, and the rifle thread is now converted to M18x1.

Von STALON gibt es jetzt auch sichere Gewinde-Adapter so dann man einen Schalldämpfer mit 18x1mm Anschlussgewinde auf verschiedenen Waffen mit unterschiedlichen Laufgewinde anbringen kann. Der Gewindeadapter besteht aus Stahl und ist mit einem Schraubenschlüssel oder Steckschlüssel zur sicheren und stabilen Befestigung am Lauf festzuziehen. Die Verwendung eines Adapters bringt natürlich mehr Toleranzen in die Verbindung, daher muss der Adapter immer gut festgeschraubt und nach Hersteller-Vorgaben auch mit einer Schraubensicherung wie z.B. Loctite 243 gesichert werden, um zu verhindern dass sich die Verschraubung löst und die Verbindung aus der Flucht gerät – was dazu führen kann dass das Geschoss im Dämpfer touchiert. Montageanleitung: Der Gewindeadapter wird direkt am Gewinde der Waffe montiert und befestigt. Vor der Montage des Gewindeadapters immer das Gewinde am Gewehr prüfen und von Fett und Schmutz reinigen. Überprüfen Sie auch, ob das Gewinde im Schalldämpfer und im Gewindeadapter das gleiche Gewinde aufweist. Nach der Reinigung des Gewehrgewindes wird eine Schraubensicherung auf das Gewinde aufgebracht (z.B.: Loctite 243). Montieren Sie den Gewindeadapter auf das Gewinde des Gewehrs mit Schraubensicherung und verwenden Sie einen 21mm Blockschlüssel, Steckschlüssel oder ähnliches, um sicherzustellen, dass der Gewindeadapter richtig montiert ist. Warten Sie, bis die Schraubensicherung ausgehärtet ist, bevor Sie den Schalldämpfer am Gewindeadapter montieren. Wenn die Schraubensicherung gehärtet ist, ist die Montage des Adapters abgeschlossen und das Gewehrgewinde ist nun auf M18x1 umgestellt.
