This AEG is electrically operated, can shoot semi-automatically and fully automatically, and is legally classified as a toy since its muzzle energy is below 0.5 Joules. Please note: It is still considered a so-called imitation weapon. Please observe the relevant legal regulations. A (LiPo) battery and ammunition are required for operation.

We revise all 0.5 weapons in our workshop, as such airsoft guns have an unusually low energy and therefore parts like the HopUp rubber or the piston should normally be replaced.
About this weapon:
- The latest versions of the JG G3 are quite durable, but still completely made of plastic. The gearbox has been significantly improved, and the shell no longer breaks. The body is, of course, a weak point in the long versions due to leverage. Please just don't break it into two pieces.
- The weapon comes with a 400-round high-cap magazine.
Regarding the restrictive method:
- Simple restriction usually consists of spring restriction with minimal nozzle drilling. Using a weak spring is relatively quick and makes the weapon cheaper. However, there is not much tension on the gearbox, and it can lead to over-rotation. Therefore, no stronger battery than 7.4V should be used.
- Optimized restriction is done with short-stroke, possibly additionally with spring shortening. Here, teeth are removed from the sector gear and piston to reduce energy. The weapon is usually made compatible with 11.1V, making the response behavior and sound a bit crisper. Important: No excessively large 11.1V battery should be used, as this will eventually cause even the best-built 0.5 to wear out.
In general, all our 0.5 weapons have a functioning HopUp system that can hop at least 0.25g BBs. It is important that the performance usually decreases when a lot of hop is set. Therefore, we normally recommend 0.2g BBs for 0.5 Joule weapons.
Important:
- We do not deliver this weapon with less than 0.4 Joules.
- We generally solder Dean-T connectors unless otherwise requested.
The range of a 0.5 is usually around 40-45m, with the effective range where you can still 'hit something' usually at 30-35m.
Without further tuning, the rate of fire (RoF) of a normal AEG weapon, depending on the motor, battery quality, and system tuning with a 7.4V LiPo battery, is between 650 and 900 shots/min (11-15 shots/second) and with an 11.1V LiPo battery (not with spring restriction!) between 950 and 1300 shots/min (16-22 shots/second). We include an exact chronograph protocol indicating the rate of fire. It may vary slightly depending on the quality of the battery used later.

Diese AEG ist elektrisch betrieben, darf semi- und vollautomatisch schießen und gilt rechtlich als Spielzeug, da ihre Schussenergie unter 0,5 Joule liegt. Zu beachten ist: Es handelt sich immer noch um eine sog. Anscheinswaffe. Bitte beachten sie die diesbezüglichen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Zum Betrieb wird ein (LiPo-)Akku und Munition benötigt.

Wir überarbeiten alle 0,5er-Waffen in unserer Werkstatt, da solche Airsoftwaffen eine an sich untypisch niedrige Energie haben und deswegen normalerweise Teile wie HopUp-Gummi oder der Piston gewechselt werden sollten.
Zu dieser Waffe:
- Die neuesten Versionen der JG G3 sind recht haltbar, allerdings immer noch komplett aus Plastik. Die Gearbox wurde stark verbessert und die Shell bricht nun nicht mehr. Der Body ist bei den langen Versionen natürlich aufgrund der Hebelwirkung eine Schwachstelle. Bitte einfach nicht in zwei Teile brechen.

Zu den Drosselmethoden:
- Einfache Drosselung besteht meist aus Federdrosselung mit minimaler Nozzlebohrung. Eine schwache Feder zu benutzen geht relativ schnell und die Waffe wird günstiger. Es ist aber nicht viel Spannung auf der Gearbox und es kann zum Überdrehen kommen. Daher darf kein stärkerer Akku als 7,4V benutzt werden.
- Optimierte Drosselung machen wir mit Shortstroke, evtl. zusätzlich mit Federkürzung. Hier werden vom Sectorgear und Piston jeweils Zähne entfernt um die Energie zu senken. Die Waffe wird normalerweise 11,1V kompatibel, das Ansprechverhalten und der Sound etwas knackiger. Wichtig: Es sollte kein übertrieben großer 11,1er benutzt werden, denn damit wird jede noch so gut aufgebaute 0,5er irgendwann an Verschleiß sterben.
Allgemein haben alle unsere 0,5er-Waffen ein funktionierendes HopUp-System, das mindestens 0,25g BBs hoppen kann. Wichtig ist, dass die Leistung meist sinkt, wenn man viel Hop einstellt. Daher empfehlen wir normalerweise 0,2g BBs für 0,5 Joule Waffen.
Wichtig:
- Wir liefern diese Waffe nicht mit weniger als 0,4 Joule aus.
- Wir verlöten grundsätzlich Dean-T-Stecker, wenn nichts anderes gewünscht wurde.
Die Reichweite einer 0,5er liegt im Normalfall bei rund 40-45m, die effektive Reichweite auf die man auch noch ‚was trifft‘ liegt meist bei 30-35m.
Ohne weiteres Tuning liegt die Feuerrate (RoF) einer normalen AEG-Waffe je nach Motor, Akkuqualität und Abstimmung des Systems bei 7,4V LiPo-Akku zwischen 650 und 900 Schuss/min (11-15 Schuss/Sekunde) und bei 11,1V LiPo-Akku (nicht bei Federdrosselung!) zwischen 950 und 1300 Schuss/min (16-22 Schuss/Sekunde). Ein genaues Chronoprotokoll mit Angabe der Feuerrate legen wir bei. Dabei kann es sein, dass diese je nach Qualität des später verwendeten Akkus etwas schwankt.
