The Warfare 193-O knife from the Spanish manufacturer Miguel Nieto is made in a solid full tang construction, meaning it is made from a single piece of steel along its entire length. Thus, the blade does not break out of the handle when it comes to hard use.

The Blade
Nieto uses high-quality AN-58 steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. This is a low-alloy steel with a carbon content of about 0.5%. Blades made from this material bend under heavy load but do not break. A chromium content of around 13% ensures corrosion resistance.

The Handle
The handle is made of light olive wood. It is ergonomically designed and feels pleasant in the hand. To ensure a secure grip, there is a recess for the index finger, and additionally, the blade has a support notch there. The core piece extends above the handle as a wide loop to attach a lanyard or cord. The knife comes in a black leather sheath with red stitching and cord.

Das Messer Warfare 193-O aus der spanischen Manufaktur von Miguel Nieto ist in der soliden Full Tang-Bauweise hergestellt, d. h. es besteht über seine gesamte Länge aus einem Stück Stahl. Somit bricht die Klinge, wenn es einmal, im Sinne des Wortes, hart auf hart kommt, nicht aus dem Griff heraus.

Die Klinge
Nieto verwendet hochwertigen AN-58 Stahl mit einer Härte von 58-60 HRC. Dies ist ein niedrig legierter Stahl mit einem Kohlenstoffgehalt von ca. 0,5 %. Daraus hergestellte Klingen biegen sich bei starker Belastung, brechen aber nicht. Ein Chromanteil von rund 13 % sorgt für Korrosionsbeständigkeit.

Der Griff
Der Griff ist aus hellem Olivenholz gefertigt. Er ist ergonomisch gestaltet, liegt haptisch angenehm in der Hand. Um einen sicheren Griff zu gewährleisten, ist für den Zeigefinger eine Einbuchtung vorgesehen, zusätzlich hat die Klinge dort noch eine Stützausbuchtung. Das Kernstück geht oben als breite Öse über den Griff hinaus, um einen Fangriemen oder eine Kordel anzubringen. Das Messer wird in einer schwarzen Lederscheide mit roten Nähten und Kordel geliefert.
