Thus, the blade does not break out of the handle when it comes to hard use.The BladeNieto uses high-quality AN-58 steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. This is a low-alloy steel with a carbon content of about 0.5%. Blades made from this material bend under heavy load but do not break. A chromium content of around 13% ensures corrosion resistance.The HandleThe handle is made of light olive wood. It is ergonomically designed and feels pleasant in the hand. To ensure a secure grip, there is a recess for the index finger, and additionally, the blade has a support notch there. The core piece extends above the handle as a wide loop to attach a lanyard or cord.
