The Coyote 2048-B knife by Miguel Nieto is made in a robust full tang construction, meaning it is made from a single piece of solid steel from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. This eliminates the risk of the blade breaking out of the handle during demanding use.
The Blade
Nieto uses high-quality stainless AN-58 steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. This is a low-alloy steel with a carbon content of about 0.5%. Blades made from this material bend under heavy use but do not break. A chromium content of around 13% provides corrosion resistance. The blade of the Coyote 2048-B has grooves on the spine for thumb support.
The Handle
The handle is made of ribbed, grained Bocote wood. It is ergonomically designed, feels pleasant in the hand, and has a loop at the top for attaching a lanyard. The knife comes with a high-quality brown leather sheath with a belt loop.

Das Coyote 2048-B von Miguel Nieto mit dem Griff aus Bocote-Holz ist ein zuverlässiges und vielseitig einsetzbares Messer für die Jagd und Aktivitäten in der Natur.
Das Messer Coyote 2048-B von Miguel Nieto ist in der robusten Full Tang-Bauweise hergestellt, d. h. es besteht von der Klingenspitze an bis zum Griffende aus einem Stück solidem Stahl. Die Gefahr, dass die Klinge bei anspruchsvoller Nutzung aus dem Griff herausbricht, besteht damit nicht.
Die KlingeNieto verwendet hochwertigen rostfreien AN-58 Stahl mit einer Härte von 58-60 HRC. Dies ist ein niedrig legierter Stahl mit einem Kohlenstoffgehalt von ca. 0,5 %. Daraus gefertigte Klingen biegen sich bei starker Beanspruchung, brechen aber nicht. Ein Chromanteil von rund 13 % sorgt für Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Die Klinge des Coyote 2048-B hat am Rücken Rillen als Stütze für den Daumen.
Der GriffDer Griff ist aus geriffeltem gemasertem Bocote-Holz gefertigt. Er ist ergonomisch gestaltet, liegt haptisch angenehm in der Hand und hat oben eine Öse zur Anbringung eines Fangriemens. Das Messer wird in einer hochwertigen braunen Lederscheide mit Gürtelschlaufe geliefert.
