Mechanical Trigger
With the LG500 Expert, Walther combines technical innovation and mechanical
excellence for the competitive shooter. The Expert impresses with top features
of the itec system bedding, Accuracy Control System, and Balancing System for
optimal weight distribution and stability. In conjunction with the finely
adjustable mechanical trigger and Inside-Out diopter, there are no limits to
new personal best performances.
STABILITY & RESPONSE SYSTEM: Walther SRS, which is adaptive
inline impulse compensation, vibration-minimized loading mechanics, and a new,
pneumatically driven absorber. For the desired, fine feedback to achieve
personal performance optimum.
ACCURACY CONTROL SYSTEM: The Accuracy Control System ACS increases the
precision of the overall system from within the rifle platform – through the
perfected interface between barrel and system housing and optimized
geometry for barrel and system housing.
WALTHER BALANCING SYSTEM: The balancing system allows for individual
optimization of the total mass, balance, and mass distribution for both
the fore-end and the buttstock using 90 g balancing elements. These can
even be adjusted continuously in the fore-end. The split buttstock allows
for independent adjustment of the stock length and cheek position without
affecting each other.
ITEC SYSTEM BEDDING: The itec system bedding ensures a stable and
stress-free mounting of the system. Special features include enlarged
bearing surfaces in conjunction with innovative fine adjustment for height
and side.
