The self-loading shotgun Mercury Xtreme Max5 is specifically designed for camouflage in nature and is excellent for hunting from hides, known as blinds. The magazine extension provides an increased shot capacity (4+1), which can be particularly advantageous when hunting birds such as crows, pigeons, ducks, or geese. The weapon is equipped with a synthetic stock that is designed in an original Max5 Camo pattern. This pattern is specifically designed to be hardly noticeable in natural environments, such as in reeds or under trees. Another feature of the shotgun is the Fast-Loading system, which allows for quick and comfortable reloading with just one hand. This can be crucial in situations where speed is essential. The SmartMAX-Piston technology ensures reliable operation of the weapon with different shot loads, which can range from 24 g to 52 g. This offers flexibility regarding the ammunition used and allows the shotgun to be adapted to various hunting situations. Additionally, the self-loading shotgun is designed for use with steel shot and comes with five interchangeable chokes, allowing the shooter to adjust the spread of the shot as needed. For added safety, there is a trigger safety located on the trigger guard that is operated by a push button. This prevents accidental discharge of the shot and contributes to the safe handling of the weapon.

Die Selbstladeflinte Mercury Xtreme Max5 ist speziell für die Tarnung in der Natur konzipiert und eignet sich hervorragend für die Jagd aus Verstecken, sogenannten Blinds. Durch die Magazinverlängerung ist eine erhöhte Schusskapazität (4+1) gegeben, was besonders bei der Jagd auf Vögel wie Krähen, Tauben, Enten oder Gänse von Vorteil sein kann. Die Waffe ist mit einem Kunststoffschaft ausgestattet, der in einem original Max5 Camo-Muster gestaltet ist. Dieses Muster ist speziell dafür entworfen, in natürlichen Umgebungen, wie zum Beispiel im Schilf oder unter Geäst, kaum auffällig zu sein. Ein weiteres Feature der Flinte ist das Fast-Loading-System, welches ein schnelles und komfortables Nachladen mit nur einer Hand ermöglicht. Dies kann in Situationen, in denen es auf Schnelligkeit ankommt, entscheidend sein. Die SmartMAX-Piston-Technologie gewährleistet eine zuverlässige Funktion der Waffe mit unterschiedlichen Schrotladungen, die von 24 g bis 52 g reichen können. Dies bietet Flexibilität in Bezug auf die verwendete Munition und erlaubt es, die Flinte an verschiedene Jagdsituationen anzupassen. Zudem ist die Selbstladeflinte für den Gebrauch mit Stahlschrot ausgelegt und kommt mit fünf Wechselchokes, die dem Schützen oder der Schützin ermöglichen, die Streuung des Schrotes je nach Bedarf anzupassen. Für zusätzliche Sicherheit sorgt eine Abzugssicherung, die sich am Abzugsbügel befindet und über einen Druckknopf bedient wird. Dies verhindert ein unbeabsichtigtes Auslösen des Schusses und trägt zur sicheren Handhabung der Waffe bei.
