Loden sitting blanket with many applications

The special feature of the Waldkauz sitting blanket is the combination of a loden blanket and a weather cloak, or loden poncho. With a concealed zipper sewn in, the comfortable blanket for sitting can be transformed in no time into a wrap that can be worn open or closed at the front, always providing an optimal climate for the hunter.

This high-quality loden blanket once again exceeds your expectations in typical WALDKAUZ fashion. In addition to its normal function as a warm blanket for sitting, we have added a very special twist: A concealed 2-way zipper has been integrated from one side edge into the middle area. This allows it to be opened from the center and pulled over the head as a closed loden poncho or weather cloak. If it gets too warm under the extra fluffy brushed loden, you can also open the zipper from the edge of the blanket as far as you like, creating a breezy cloak. This way, you have optimal protection against wind and cold for every situation.

When sitting, you have the choice of whether to wrap the sitting blanket closed around your body or to wear it as a classic loden poncho or weather cloak. On the stalk, during duck hunting, or at the driven hunt stand, you will quickly come to appreciate the advantages of the cloak variant. And if it gets too warm while stalking, a nearly silent pull on the zipper quickly opens the cape and lets in fresh air. Additionally, there is no need to store a sitting blanket in a hunting backpack or hunting bag, saving space. Due to its variable usability in many situations, the sitting blanket even replaces the hunting jacket or loden coat or complements these garments as an additional "layer."

The sitting blanket is made from the finest loden in our manufactory. For this product made of 100% virgin wool, the surface is specially brushed to create a softer feel. This not only has the advantage of making the blanket softer but also, above all, provides a better air cushion and thus better insulation properties. Its generous dimensions of 200 x 150 cm not only allow for comfortable wrapping but also create enough surface area to adequately cover the body in its function as a weather cloak or poncho.

Of course, it is also wonderfully suitable as a picnic blanket. With the optionally available leather carrying strap, it can also be easily secured and transported. That the loden blanket is handcrafted and that we place special emphasis on the quality of the workmanship is a matter of course for us.

Loden-Ansitzdecke mit vielen Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Das Besondere an der Waldkauz-Ansitzdecke ist die Kombination aus Lodendecke und Wetterfleck, bzw. Lodenkotze. Durch einen verdeckt eingenähten Reißverschluß lässt sich im Handumdrehen die bequeme Decke für den Ansitz in einen Überwurf verwandeln der vorne offen oder geschlossen getragen werden kann und so immer ein optimales Klima für den Jäger ermöglicht.

Diese hochwertige Lodendecke schießt in WALDKAUZ-typischer Manier wieder mal über Ihr Ziel hinaus. Neben Ihrer normalen Funktion als warme Decke für den Ansitz haben wir Ihr noch einen ganz besonderen Clou verpasst: Von einer Seitenkannte wurde bis in den mittleren Bereich ein verdeckter 2-Wege-Reißverschluß eingarbeitet. So lässt sie sich beispielsweise von der Mitte her öffnen und als geschlossene Lodenkotze oder Wetterfleck über den Kopf ziehen. Wird es unter dem extra flauschig aufgerauhten Loden zu warm, können Sie den Reißverschluß auch noch vom Rand der Decke her beliebig weit öffnen und haben einen luftigen Umhang. So haben Sie für jede Situation einen optimalen Schutz vor Wind und Kälte.

Beim Ansitz bleibt Ihnen die Qual der Wahl, ob Sie die Ansitzdecke geschlossen um Ihren Körper schlagen möchten oder ob Sie sie als klassische Lodenkotze bzw. Wetterfleck tragen wollen. Auf der Pirsch, der Entenjagd oder auf dem Drückjagdstand werden Sie die Vorzüge der Umhang-Variante schnell zu schätzen lernen. Und wenn es mal beim Pirschen zu warm wird, ist mit einem nahezu lautlosen Zug am Reißverschluß schnell das Cape geöffnet und lässt frische Luft ein. Ganz nebenbei entfällt das platzraubende Verstauen einer Ansitzdecke im Jagdrucksack oder in der Jagdtasche. Die Ansitzdecke ersetzt durch ihre variable Nutzbarkeit in vielen Situationen sogar die Jagdjacke oder den Lodenmantel oder ergänzt diese Kleidungstücke als zusätzliche "Zwiebelschicht".

Die Ansitzdecke wird aus bestem Loden in unserer Manufaktur gefertigt. Für dieses Produkt aus 100% Schurwolle wird die Oberfläche besonders aufgebauscht, damit eine weichere Haptik entsteht. Das hat nicht nur den Vorteil, daß die Decke weicher wird, sondern vor allen Dingen auch, daß sie ein besseres Luftpolster und somit bessere Isolierungseigenschaften mitbringt. Ihr großzügiges Maß von 200 x150 cm erlaubt nicht nur ein komfortables Einwickeln, sondern schafft auch genügend Fläche um den Körper in Ihrer Funktion als Wetterfleck oder Poncho ausreichend zu bedecken.

Natürlich ist sie auch wunderbar als Picknickdecke bestens geeignet. Mit dem optional erhältlichen Ledertragegurt lässt sie sich zudem bequem verzurren und transportieren. Das die Lodendecke in Handarbeit gefertigt wird und unser besonderes Augenmerk auf die Qualität der Verarbeitung gelegt wird, ist für uns eine Selbstverständlichkeit.
