Our absolute favorite socks made of merino wool

Good wool socks and warm functional underwear perfectly complement our loden clothing. However, we are not sock specialists and do not want to become one, as we would need to know how to knit for that. So, we contacted the friendly company VEITH from the Allgäu region, which has been manufacturing socks in Germany for 3 generations. Really only socks, and they do it with perfection. We have been wearing the socks ourselves for a long time and are so enthusiastic about them that we are now happily adding them to our range and offering them to our quality-conscious customers.
The sock is made from merino sheep wool, supplemented with 7% polyamide and 3% elastane for shape stability. It leaves no pressure or chafing points, does not constrict – but also does not slip. The sock cuff does not cut in. The foot part is equipped with a dense, insulating, and cushioning plush sole that is on the outside.

The "light" variant is a robust sock for the transition! We offer it in sizes 36/37 - 46/47 in the color walnut. Alternatively, we offer the "strong" sock for autumn/winter.

Unsere absolut liebsten Socken aus Merinowolle

Gute Wollsocken und warme Funktionsunterwäsche ergänzen unsere Lodenbekleidung perfekt. Nun sind wir aber keine Socken-Spezialisten und wollen das auch nicht werden, denn dafür müssten wir stricken können. Also haben wir Kontakt mit der sympathischen Ällgäuer Firma VEITH aufgenommen, die seit 3 Generationen in Deutschland Socken fertigt. Wirklich nur Socken und das mit Perfektion. Wir tragen die Socken selber schon lange und sind so begeistert von ihnen, dass wir sie nun mit Freude in unser Sortiment aufnehmen und unseren qualitätsbewussten Kunden anbieten.
Gefertigt wird die Socke aus Merinoschurwolle, für die Formstabilität ergänzt durch 7% Polyamid und 3 % Elasthan. Sie hinterlässt keine Druck- und Scheuerstellen, engt nicht ein – rutscht aber auch nicht. Der Sockenrand ist nicht einschneidend. Der Fußteil ist mit einer dichten, isolierenden und dämpfenden Plüschsohle ausgestattet, die nach außen liegt.

Die Variante "light" ist eine robuste Socke für den Übergang! Wir führen sie in den Größen 36/37- 46/47 in der Farbe Walnuss. Alternativ bieten wir die Socke "strong" für den Herbst/Winter an.
