New gears usually increase the durability of an airsoft gun because 'tuning' gears are often better manufactured than standard gears. The normal ratio is 18.1 with 16 teeth. This means that the motor has to make 18 revolutions until the piston is cocked (or the last gear has made a full rotation).
If you now have a steeper ratio, e.g. 12:1, the response behavior and rate of fire improve due to an improvement of only 12 revolutions of the motor until the shot. Accordingly, the motor load is of course higher.
The number of teeth on a gear set affects the energy of the weapon and the available cylinder volume. For example, a dual sector gear has not 16, but only eight teeth, which means the piston is only half cocked. This approximately halves the energy. Since these eight teeth are doubled on the special dual sector gear, the rate of fire in full auto is drastically increased.
For speed gears, always use a torque motor for optimal results.

Neue Zahnräder steigern meist die Haltbarkeit einer Airsoftwaffe, weil 'Tuning'-Zahnräder oft besser gefertigt sind als Standardzahnräder. Die normale Übersetzung ist 18.1 bei 16 Zähnen. Das bedeutet, dass der Motor 18 Umdrehungen machen muss, bis der Piston aufgezogen wurde (bzw. das letzte Zahnrad sich eine volle Umdrehung bewegt hat).
Hat man jetzt also eine steilere Übersetzung, z.B. 12:1, steigert sich das Ansprechverhalten und Feuerrate durch eine Verbesserung von nur 12 Umdrehungen des Motors bis zum Schuss. Entsprechend ist natürlich die Motorlast höher.
Die Zahl der Zähne auf einem Gearset hat Einfluss auf die Energie der Waffe und das zur Verfügung stehende Cylindervolumen. So hat z.B. ein Dualsectorgear nicht 16, sondern nur acht Zähne, die den Piston also nur halb aufziehen. Damit wird in etwa die Energie halbiert. Da diese acht Zähner auf dem speziellen Dualsectorgear doppelt vorhanden sind, wird die Feuerrate im Vollauto drastisch erhöht.
Benutzen sie zu Speed-Gears am besten immer einen Torque-Motor für optimale Ergebnisse.
