The X-lite 8x34 is a lightweight and compact binocular that doesn't take up much space in a backpack, can always be with you, and is versatile. Together with the 8x42 version, it has the largest field of view in the X-lite series of 124 m at 1,000 m. Minox has succeeded in offering top optics at a very good price-performance ratio.
The Optics
The X-lite 8x34 achieves its excellent imaging performance through its high-quality optics, delivering sharp, contrast-rich, and detailed images while maintaining neutral color reproduction. The close focus range is only 3 m, and the field of view is 124 m at 1,000 m.
The Housing
A robust housing securely encompasses the sensitive optics and is very lightweight at a total weight of 450 g, which is an important criterion for a hunting binocular that you always carry in the field. Minox has always focused on a minimalist design, as seen in the X-lite 8x34: two linear tubes connected by two narrow bridges form an ergonomic and functional unit that feels pleasant in the hand. The binocular is filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging and is waterproof according to IPX7 standard.
