Corinthian helmet with plume from the 7th century BC - this helmet made of black-dyed steel features the typical shape of a helmet with a long front part, a nasal shield, and a curved neck guard.

Richly decorated on the sides, it has symbols of a horse and a snake, and on the forehead, a depiction of a woman's head made of brass. Additionally, a large bright plume is attached using the metal plates affixed to the helmet, including a padded cap.

The Corinthian helmet, which originated in the 7th century BC, continues to shape the image of the typical Greek helmet to this day. Its origin traces back to the city of Corinth. It quickly became an integral part of Greek hoplite armor and spread to Italy, where it became one of the most common helmets used in the army of the Roman Republic with some variations.

Reich verziert an den Seiten befinden sich Symbole aus Pferd und Schlange auf der Stirn ein Bild eines Frauenkopfes aus Messing. Zusätzlich ein großer heller Helmbusch welcher mithilfe der am Helm angebrachten Metallbleche angebracht wird inklusive einer gepolsterte Haube

Der im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. entstandene korintische Helm prägt bis heute das Bild des typischen griechischen Helmes. Sein Ursprung geht auf die Stadt Korinth zurück. Er wurde schnell ein fester Bestandteil der griechischen Hoplitenrüstung und verbreitete sich bis nach Italien, wo er mit einigen Abwandlungen einer der gängigsten Helme im Heer der römischen Republik Verwendung fand.
