Roman Centurion Officer's Helmet with Plume of the Roman legionaries. Made of armor steel with brass decorations and cheek guards as well as forehead and neck protection. Includes a padded inner cap made of cotton.

The Roman Centurion officer's helmet, also known as "galea," was an important part of the armor of a centurion, an officer in the Roman army. These helmets were not only functional but also a symbol of the rank and authority of the wearer.

The helmet often had a characteristic shape with a wide shield (visor) to protect the face and a high brim that protected the neck.
