With the Clip-On Adapter A-700 NV, the user can position and align a clip-on image intensifier / night vision device in front of the primary optic of the weapon. The user can adjust the angle of the A-700 from 0 to 13 MIL (0 to 44.4 MOA) to achieve the same inclination as the ISMS mount to which the A-700 is attached. This minimizes optical distortion between the thermal imaging device or image intensifier and the primary optic, thereby maximizing target identification and hit probability.
