This piston is a necessary upgrade for almost any AEG and S-AEG with a plastic piston. The steel tooth row (hardened) significantly increases durability.
The piston is durable but not heavy, the tooth row is hardened and relatively wide, which further increases durability. For the AOE adjustment, the second and third teeth have been removed. The reduced weight was achieved by removing plastic from the sides. We made sure to choose the version that does not save excessive material to ensure maximum stability. The hole where the piston head is inserted is finally of normal size, and no further processing is required.
The tooth row can even be replaced - since this is almost never necessary, we recommend additionally gluing the steel teeth, e.g., with Locktite. We also recommend securing the piston head with thread locker or super glue; breaking off the piston head is a typical mistake, especially at high rates of fire, which we encounter repeatedly in workshop orders.
We generally do not recommend operating 0.5s without a steel tooth piston.
For us, the optimal piston. Fits almost everywhere, withstands a lot, is very well made, and light enough to function at high rates of fire - and it is still affordable.

Dieser Piston ist ein notwendiges Upgrade für nahezu jede AEG und S-AEG mit Plastikpiston. Durch die Stahlzahnreihe (gehärtet) erhöht sich die Haltbarkeit enorm.
Der Piston ist haltbar aber nicht schwer, die Zahnreihe gehärtet und relativ breit, was die Haltbarkeit nochmal erhöht. Für die AOE-Einstellung wurde der zweite und dritte Zahn entfernt. Das verringerte Gewicht wurde durch Entnahme von Plastik an den Seiten realisiert. Wir haben hier darauf geachtet, die Version zu nehmen, welche nicht übertrieben viel Material einspart um maximale Stabilität zu gewährleisten. Das Loch in dem der Pistonhead eingesetzt wird, ist endlich einmal in Normalgröße und man muss nicht nacharbeiten.
Die Zahnreihe kann sogar gewechselt werden - da das fast nie notwendig ist, emfpehlen wir die Stahlzähne zusätzlich einzukleben, z.B. mit Locktide. Wir empfehlen auch den Pistonhead zusätzlich mit Schraubensicherungslack oder Sekundenkleber zu sichern, Abreißen des Pistonheads ist grade bei hohen Feuerraten ein typischer Fehler, dem wir immer wieder bei Werkstattaufträgen begegnen.
Wir empfehlen 0,5er grundsätzlich nicht ohne Stahlzahnpiston zu betreiben.
Für uns der optimale Piston. Passt fast überall, hält enorm viel aus, ist sehr sauber gearbeitet und leicht genug um z.B. bei hohen Feueraten zu funktionieren - und bezahlbar ist er auch noch.
