Ruger Speed Six Stainless Anniversary Model. "MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY". Special marking by Ruger released only in 1976. Robust, handy hunting revolver with a 2 3/4 inch barrel for the finishing shot in the powerful caliber .357 Magnum. Barrel profile mirror-polished, grooves and lands sharp-edged. As the name suggests, it is consistently designed for practical use with simple and quick handling and target acquisition. Due to the relatively short barrel, the center of gravity is further back. Comfortable to carry, all edges are rounded and the U-notch sight is milled into the frame bridge to reduce the risk of snagging. The wide notch cut helps the eye with quick target acquisition. For the quick shot, the front sight is kept flat and lined against glare. Hammer spur with stamped thumb rest. With side-swinging, half-fluted cylinder and side button for the cylinder lock. Original Ruger "square butt" wooden grip panels with small checkering. Small pressure marks on the grip panel, otherwise well-maintained condition with minor signs of use. Stainless Steel. 6-shot. Ruger Speed Six Stainless Jubiläumsmodell. "MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY". Sonderbeschriftung von Ruger nur im Jahr 1976 aufgelegt. Robuster, handlicher Jagdrevolver mit 2 3/4 Zoll Lauf für den Fangschuss im starken Kaliber .357Magnum. Laufprofil spiegelblank, Züge und Felder scharfkantig. Wie der Name schon aussagt konsequent für die Praxis auf einfache und schnelle Handhabung und Zielaufnahme ausgelegt. Durch den relativ kurzen Lauf liegt der Schwerpunkt weiter hinten. Angenehm zu tragen, alle Kanten sind abgerundet und die U-Kimme ist in die Rahmenbrücke eingefräst um die Gefahr des hängenbleibens zu reduzieren. Der breite Kimmenausschnitt hilft dem Auge bei der schnellen Zielaufnahme. Für den schnellen Deutschuss ist das Korn flach gehalten und gegen Spiegelung liniert. Hahnsporn mit punzierter Daumenauflage. Mit seitlich ausschwenkbarer, halbgefluteter Trommel und seitlichen Druckknopf für die Trommelsperre. Original Ruger "square butt" Holzgriffschalen mit kleiner Fischhaut. Kleine Druckstellen an der Griffschale, sonst gepflegter Zustand mit kleinen Gebrauchsspuren. Stainless Steel. 6-schüssig.
