Ampco is a very hard bronze alloy with high tensile strength and harder than most steels, and it has high thermal conductivity.
Each piston has a primer channel hole of .028" (0.7mm), which leads to a significant reduction in escaping powder gases.

Ampco ist eine sehr harte Bronzelegierung mit hoher Zugfestigkeit und härter als die meisten Stähle, zu dem besitzt es eine hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit.
Jedes Piston hat eine Zündkanalbohrung von .028 " (0,7mm), dies führt zu einer erheblichen Reduzierung der entweichenden Pulvergase.
