Rooster in peace! After 55 years of hunting, I am selling my collection of hunting rifles; here is my MAUSER 66S in caliber 6.5x68 with ZF Zeiss Diavari ZM 2.5-10x48 and Diavari reticle.
The weapon was more in the safe than in the hunting area and is very well maintained; it was only used for chamois hunting.
The barrel is mirror bright, the bluing is 99% intact and hardly worn. The scope is mounted play-free on a swivel mount; the optics are clear and scratch-free.
The stock is finished with a ventilated rubber butt pad of 20 mm and a white spacer. The wood is of particularly beautiful grain, the fore-end and the pistol grip are finished with rosewood; the latter has an ivory inlay.

Hahn in Ruh'! Nach 55 Jagdjahren verkaufe ich meinen Bestand an Jagdwaffen; hier meine MAUSER 66S im Kal. 6,5x68 mit ZF Zeiss Diavari ZM 2,5-10x48 und Diavari-Absehen.
Die Waffe war mehr im Tresor als im Revier und ist sehr gepflegt; sie wurde nur zur Gamsjagd genutzt.
Der Lauf ist spiegelblank, die Brünierung zu 99% erhalten und kaum berieben. Das Zielfernrohr sitzt spielfrei auf einer Schwenkmontage; die Optik ist klar und kratzerfrei.
Der Schaft wird mit einer ventilierten Gummischaftkappe von 20 mm und einer weißen Zwischenlage abgeschlossen. Das Schaftholz ist von besonders schöner Maserung, der Vorderschaft und der Pistolengriff sind mit Rosenholz abgeschlossen; letzterer verfügt über eine Elfenbeineinlage.
