Our Damascus is very elaborately hand-forged from two different types of steel 1095 & 15N20. By doubling the steel layers five times and re-welding, the number of layers is multiplied. Thus, our Damascus consists of 288 layers. This gives our knives their long-lasting sharpness, toughness, and hardness.

The knife has the following dimensions:

Total length in open condition: approx. 21.5 cm

Blade length: approx. 9 cm

Closed condition: approx. 12 cm and 12 cm is the handle length.

Damascus thickness is: approx. 2.7 mm. The handle is made of dyed bone

Unser Damaszener wird sehr aufwendig aus zwei verschiedenen Stahlsorten 1095 & 15N20 handgeschmiedet. Durch fünffaches Verdoppeln der Stahllagen und erneutes Schweißen wird die Anzahl der Lagen so vervielfacht. Somit besteht unser Damaszener aus 288 Lagen. Dies zeichnet unsere Messer durch seine lang bleibende Schärfe, Zähigkeit und Härte aus.
