The die set consists of a steel sizer die, an expander die, and a roll crimp seating die.
The cases must be lubricated for use with the steel sizing die.
The expander die expands the case to the correct diameter to accept the bullet.
The seating die seats the bullet into the cartridge case and "rolls" the case to prevent movement during recoil.

RCBS 3 Die Roll Crimp Set für gängige Büchsenpatronen mit gerader Wandung.
Der Matrizensatz besteht aus einer Sizer-Matrize aus Stahl, einer Expander-Matrize und einer Roll-Crimp-Sitz-Matrize.
Die Hülsen müssen für die Verwendung mit der Stahl-Skaliermatrize geschmiert werden.
Die Expandermatrize dehnt das Gehäuse auf den richtigen Durchmesser aus, um das Geschoss aufzunehmen.
Die Sitzmatrize setzt das Geschoss in die Patronenhülse und „rollt“ die Hülse, um eine Bewegung während des Rückstoßes zu verhindern.
