Browning has achieved several optimizations with the Maral Adjustable HC, here with a brown composite stock, compared to previous models: the threaded connection between the barrel and receiver is stiffer, the contact surfaces of the stock are wider, and the path of the hand trigger has been shortened by 25%. The Stock
The ergonomic composite stock is extremely stable despite its low weight. The rubberized inserts on the pistol grip and forend feel pleasant in the hands, even in wet weather. The distance from the grip to the trigger is optimal for relaxed shooting without hand cramping. The buttstock features an adjustable comb and an Inflex II pad. This extremely flexible stock pad noticeably compensates for recoil by directing its force downward.
