The increased weight at the front part of the frame and slide minimizes the recoil of the weapon, while the magazine release is more accessible and can be adjusted in three positions. Die SHADOW 2 OR wird mit einem Stahlrahmen und Aluminiumgriffschalen geliefert. Bei ihrer Konstruktion wurden alle wesentlichen Waffenteile modernisiert: Verschluss und Rahmen erlauben dabei in Verbindung mit der Laufverlängerung eine schnellere und dynamischere Schussfolge, wobei die Rahmenform einen bequemeren, höheren Griff zur Laufachse unterstützt.
