Walther OSP Schnellfeuerpistole in .22Short (22kurz). Sport and collector's pistol manufactured in 1977. Sport pistol for the former Olympic rapid-fire pistol discipline in caliber .22short (.22kurz). To keep the recoil as low as possible, the discipline was still shot in caliber .22 short until 2004. The Walther OSP was specifically designed for this caliber and the discipline. For the Olympic rapid-fire pistol, only the stronger caliber .22lr is now permitted. The .22Short rapid-fire pistol is still shot as a purely German discipline in some clubs, especially in Northern Germany. The Walther OSP was one of the most successful sport pistols in this discipline. Due to its exceptional construction and the well-known good workmanship, it is a piece of sports history and an interesting collector's item. Barrel profile mirror bright, grooves and lands sharp-edged. With height and windage adjustable target sights, interchangeable front sight, and fine match trigger. Anatomical grip shell with adjustable hand rest and thumb rest made of walnut. Grip surface with hammer finish. Well-maintained very good, almost like new condition. With spare magazine and orig. case! Caliber .22short (.22kurz). Proof: Ulm 1977. Barrel length: approx. 10.5 cm. Sight length: approx. 25 cm. Overall length: approx. 29 cm. Weight: 1.15 kg. Walther OSP Schnellfeuerpistole in .22Short (22kurz). Sport- und Sammlerpistole gefertigt 1977. Sportpistole für die ehemalige olympische Schnellfeuer-Pistolendisziplin im Kaliber .22short (.22kurz). Um den Rückstoß so gering wie möglich zu halten wurde die Disziplin bis 2004 noch im Kaliber .22 kurz geschossen. Die Walther OSP wurde speziell für dieses Kaliber und die Disziplin konstruiert. Für die Olympische Schnellfeuerpistole ist heute nur noch das stärkere Kaliber .22lr zugelassen. Die .22Short Schnellfeuerpistole wird als rein Deutsche Disziplin noch in einigen Vereinen besonders in Norddeutschland geschossen. Die Walther OSP gehörte zu den erfolgreichsten Sportpistolen in dieser Disziplin. Aufgrund der außergewöhnlichen Konstruktion und der bekannt guten Verarbeitung ein Stück Sportgeschichte und interessantes Sammlerobjekt. Laufprofil spiegelblank, Züge und Felder scharfkantig. Mit höhen- und seitenverstellbare Targetvisierung auswechselbaren Korn und feinem Matchabzug. Anatomische Formgriffschale mit verstellbarer Handkantenauflage und Daumenauflage aus Nussbaum. Grifffläche mit Hammerschlag punziert. Gepflegter sehr guter, fast neuwertiger Erhaltungszustand. Mit Ersatzmagazin und orig. Koffer! Kaliber .22short (.22kurz). Beschuss: Ulm 1977.
